Using a hair dryer and PATIENCE to remove the origin glass, the attachment to was easy to attach (removing the original glass was the hardest part). I would recommend buying b7000 glue to help attach it, since the adhesive isn’t that strong. I would also recommend placing something (like a book) on top of the attachment upon instillation (I forcefully pushed mine and it broke). Remember it is a thin piece of glass that can break when the pressure isn’t evenly distributed. The color was a little less “sleak” than the original, but it isn’t that noticeable (if they’re looking that close they want you). I do recommend buying this product to save yourself the money, if you’re careful.

I bought this as a replacement. I gently tossed the phone on the bed and the glass shattered. Waste of money, it lasted two weeks.

This replacement glass works. However… I would NEVER replace a back glass again. At almost every point in the process, I felt in danger of permanently destroying my phone. Seriously, this repair felt so much riskier than replacing a screen. Not even close. And it took hours. Also, if you read this and decide to do the job yourself anyway, I’d recommend using your own glue to seal the phone. The glass has a sticky back but I would not trust that to provide a water-tight seal.

This backglass is excellent if you need to source the part quickly. Normally, I order in bulk directly from China for $1-4 per piece, but I run out, and Amazon is my go-to.It is not a premium piece of glass, so it is best for trade-in or if you are generally really careful with your phone and want to save money. Premium glass is not easy to source. Yes, it has the Logo.I use a 20-watt fiber laser to do this process and it takes 2 hours.I have tried to do this with a hot air gun and it was a miserable arduous process. It took 5 hours with experience in phone repair, never again! You will cut yourself I promise and you may ruin some of these components like the flash module (even an accidental nudge will tear it off), the microphone at the bottom left (cable sticks up behind glass and if cut causes a 3-minute boot cycle), you could poke your battery (lights on fire), could ruin wireless charging and NFC (easy to do without alcohol and plastic cards because it's adhered to the glass), etc.You will need a new magnet, coil cover sticker, a non-corrosive adhesive (T-7000 or T-8000), and clamps to finish but the surface will be so rough and dirty from a blade it won't be flush with the frame, glass won't stick and it will break easily.I am a professional and do this for a living. I fix 150-200 devices a month so if you need this done look up Franchitti's Fix in San Diego. I got wise after 1 try and saved up $3,000 for a laser and materials. I can do the process quickly and efficiently with fewer errors and more consistent quality.

The back glass on this phone was shattered. After watching many videos I was able to learn hw to replace it. This kit came with all of the tool I needed (except the heat gun I already had). I did get some b7000 glue just for an extra hold and also to help keep the magnets in place. Everything worked great! upon replacing the back glass it looked seamless as if the same as the day I first bought it.

The replacement glass fit and looks perfect. However you need to be very careful with your heat gun. There is a very thin line between heating the glue enough to remove old glass and causing damage to the irreplaceable hardware of the phone. Unfortunately, I was not aware that the camera flash/flashlight was plastic and it melted almost immediately. Also the heat also caused one of my lenses to crack. Lastly my camera’s auto focus does not work after the replacement, which leads me to believe I damaged a sensor of some kind during the removal process.
