I purchased this to replace a lint filter with a bent corner that was catching anything with a strap or drawcord. Fit perfectly into the dryer and no more damaged clothing!

I have model EFME517SIW0 and can confirm it is an exact replacement. If your prior filter screen was damaged because it wasn't sitting flush, remove the screen and clean out the lint that has built up *under* the screen. It prevents it from seating properly. Once the lint is removed the new filter screen will slide in like new.
