Started first try on a tractor that had been sitting for years. Seized engine and it slowly broke through and started the mower right up. Left outside in the rain and snow and it still functions perfectly works well.

The New Starter Compatible with Kohler Courage Engines (2005-2012) is a reliable replacement part. Installation was straightforward, and it fit perfectly on my Cub Cadet 1050i 23HP engine. Performance is excellent, with a quick start every time. The build quality seems durable. Only time will tell about its longevity, but so far, it’s a great buy.

I bought this almost 6 months ago and it worked great originally, however I have only used my mower about 5 times or so due to life... The last time I went to start the mower the starter made a loud noise and went through my engine cover. I have not been able to find how to contact them as of yet. I am hoping they will see this review and make everything right.Thanks,Tom L.
