This is definitely a stoutly constructed stringer. However, it’s too short to be safely used with a straight longbow. The shortness of the strap forces you to bend low to string/unstring the bow and then with no curve to retain the rubber upper end of the stringer, that end slips on the limb, snapping the bow towards your head.I see no reason why this wouldn’t be a great stringer for shorter bows, but it shouldn’t be described as suitable for the longbow.

So easy to use. Was able to string the bow in less than 30 seconds. Does not come with directions so just used the picture and was able to figure it out. Great price too! Paid 6.99 when the exact same item from other sellers was 15.99.

This bow stringer is well made out of about 2" wide heavy nylon woven fabric. It is plenty long enough for a 60" bow. There are a couple of changes that would make this stringer even better. First; the loop socket that goes over lower limb tip is really nice. However, the upper limb loop is sewn so that the loop that fits over the upper limb is 90 degrees off. This places a 1/4 twist in the bow stringer, when stringing the bow. Second; the upper limb loop does not have any slide resistant material, so it just slides down the upper limb, and will not stay in place when stringing the bow. Otherwise nice well made product.

This thing rocks! Makes restringing my Samick Sage 62 a breeze. I un-string the bow after every session and I was doing it the total wrong way (just pushing it against the ground) and it was terrible for the limbs -- not to mention unsafe! With this stringer I can have the string on/off in about 10 seconds and with very little effort.

Build quality seems alright, and I've been using it without any issues.I do recommend watching some videos on YouTube though on how to string/unstring correctly, so that you don't have the end with the "leather loop" slide along the limb... That experience was a little stressful/scary for me when I first tried it with a slightly incorrect approach.

Just got a 50# recurve bow and needed a way to string it. This is budget-friendly and provided a nice wide strap to stand on while applying tension to the bow to string it. I’ve used the same kind of webbing to keep kayaks secured to my car and keep lumber stationary in my truck, so I’m not really worried about its durability. Would recommend.

I was a little worried that it would be too short to easily string a 62" bow, but it worked fine. My bow came with the type of bow-stringer that has the rubber ends on it, but it was already frayed and I didn't think it would last very long so I bought this one. The one with the rubber ends is a bit easier to use than this strap type one, but you just have to hold the strap one in place as you pull up on it.

Are use this for installing the line on my recurve bow, it’s a little difficult to search the line through then put the tension on and then take it off as one side is kept in a pocket in the other one has a sleeve for the arm
