Fun sensory mats for toddlers! Great addition to our playroom. They look exactly as pictured. Fun textures and good learning tools.

These are well made sensory mats. It comes as a set of six animals. The cat and the bunny are both long fur. (Same texture, slight color difference) The Poodle has a loose curled fur texture. The chipmunk is a tight curled fur texture. The Fish is a fun sequined swish swish texture. The bird is not feathers. It is a thin, soft-ish piece of fabric printed with feathers. They are about 9 in. tall with the animal and about 6 in. wide. They come with a large ring so you can keep them together. Each mat has a hole in the top middle under the animal. The placement of the hole makes it awkward to keep them together while in use. I feel it would be better placed at the bottom. The animal decorations are really cute. A fun set, I just wish that there were more textures to feel.

The backs and edges are all felt with the texture fabric a 5.5"x6" rectangle on the front. One note is that the parrot "feathers" are a print on fabric and not actual feathers. The textures are fun. My favorite is the poodle.Unfortunately, the ring on this set is of very little use as the holes are in the center under the heads. You can get the ring on, but it's only good for holding them together for storage and not for flipping through them on the ring as I had hoped. It would have been much better if the grommet had been placed in the upper left-hand corner of each rectangle.

This review is for the Odoxia Store Sensory MatsHaving grown up with family members on the spectrum I now know how valuable sensory experiences are. Even typical developing kiddos enjoy them.These sensory panels are as great as I hoped.This is a 6-Pack of pet themed panels. Each one bright and fun colored complete with a different sensory experiences . Multi sensiry. Comes with a large metal ring to keep contained. My little guests were greatly excited to find it on the toy shelf with the books yesterday. Even the adults liked checking it out. Great to build activities around. Many uses.

These are quuite obviously geared toward younger children, howver I bought them for some older students. They like them, but younger children who stop by seem to love them. Though they are childlike in appearence the different sensory experiences can appeal to just about anyone. Those with sensory issues will benfit from these immensely.

These are just the absolutely "just-right-size" for little ones, have really cute pets with fun sensory experiences like feathers, sequins, that are brightly-colored, and exciting, with interesting textures that are calming and comforting. We have them out all the time, as our students gravitate toward them all day long. These are super adorable for our Pet Study as well, and a fun way to incorporate theme-related items that promote independence with self regulation skills (as they choose them when they are stressed or need a little time to chillax .) These are very high quality sensory items, and the details on these is amazing. The fact that they have been standing up well in a preschool classroom the past month is a true testament to the quality of these! We love them, and look forward to getting other sets they have for our Building Study. These are great for any child (or classroom) that loves animals, children that need some calming activities that are inviting and engaging. Definitely give these a try if this sounds like what you are looking for because I promise, they are beyond awesome!

These textured sensory mats are brilliant and make for great enriching playtime! They feel very well made and I love that there’s a selection of textures to play with! The only thing I was disappointed with, was one of the mats is supposed to be feathers as the texture, however it’s simply a picture of feathers printed onto the Matt with no special texture. Other than that, all great!
