Yes, this thing came a little rough and blunt, like most Pakistani instruments do. But, like most Pakistani instruments, it's nevertheless safe to use (the most important thing), and it was easy to fix.5 seconds with a dremel conical engraving head on the inside of the curette, followed by a few passes on the inside and out with fine emory cloth to remove burrs rendered this razor sharp. We'll see how it holds up with use, but I'll trade a minute of an easy intervention to save fifty or more dollars over a miltex or sklar equivalent.

Piece of junk. Not sharp at all. It's useless.
