I use these to remove the bulk from pot belly pig tusk at our practice. I go through at least 4-5 per pig (2-4 tusks). They break and kink (not necessarily in that order) much more frequently than other brands I've used in the past but the price is great. I made a custom gum/tongue guard out of a halved piece of 3 in PVC pipe, we have a 60ml syringe to squirt cool water, and after I remove the majority, I dremel the tool edges down smoother/rounder quickly.It's a pain when it snaps because we have to struggle with the pig and re-position the guard and reposition the wire but it gets the job done and bites nicely (I've never had it slide down and cut gum or anything)

not much of a saw, just a thin wire that barely could cut the package it came in.
