The blanket is really compact. I ordered after our last Caribbean vacation after being soaked in a tropical rain. I am looking forward to take those blankets to my next vacation to keep us and our stuff dry.

Presa per mia figlia per le gite con la scuola, buon materiale e buona copertura quando si apre, difficoltoso per un bambino ripiegarla per rimetterla nella tasca integrata ma nel complesso un buon prodotto.

I ordered this for a music festival. Good thing I opened it before I left. This is basically a piece of nylon that is incredibly thin. If you might have to sit on gravel or pavement, or a combo of that and maybe some hard turf, this is not going to provide any comfort whatsoever.I did buy this for its “waterproofing” description as the festival I’m attending is in the south and prone to dew if not solid rain. I highly doubt this “blanket” will keep us dry in anything other than a light dew on the grass. Again, this is a thin piece of nylon. A tarp is thicker.

I ordered this to take with me to a music festival. Just wanted something small and simple to sit on to eat/rest. This worked perfect! I ordered the 43x63 size. It was plenty big enough for the two of us. It was small enough to fit into my clear bag, but I also like the fact that I could hook it to my bag if needed. It’s not super thick, but that was okay with us. The ground was wet from rain and the blanket kept us dry. I’m not sure how waterproof it would be in heavier rains though. It was easy to fold up and shove back in the bag. I’ll definitely use it again.

Very compact but not at all waterproof. Completely soaked through on wet grass.

Used this on a beach vacation and it worked great. We could always fit it back in the packing bag, and sand didn't stick to it.

I bought this little waterproof blanket for a trip to Scotland, where it can rain at any time. I had planned to attend an outdoor event and let's face it, rain ponchos are terrible - they hold in heat and humidity, which can be very uncomfortable. I wanted to wear a light rain coat as my main jacket, and have something small in my bag that would cover my lap in the event of rain. Well, it rained a little, off and on, so out came the blanket. I wrapped it around my legs and enjoyed the show without worrying about returning to my hotel later with wet pants. It was also a nice layer of warmth in a country where it still gets chilly at night, even in August. I loved this little blanket so much that I bought more of them to give as gifts this Christmas. Keep in mind though - it probably won't help much in a torrential downpour. But it takes up very little space in a small purse and it does the job quite nicely during a light rain. I highly recommend these little blankets (the small one for yourself, or maybe the next size up to share with a friend), unless you just love rain ponchos and wet pants...

Needed something small for traveling and use for an outdoor event to sit on the grass. Came in handy for concerts at the park. The size I purchased was good for two people. It’s a thin material so don’t expect any cushion while sitting, keep us clean though.

These are just so convenient, light, and strong. Great when you have kids or go to the beach/lake, camping or whatever. Packs so small, its just easy to have on you.

OK so we compared this blanket along with "Meafteryou" ($14.99) and "Bearz" ($26.99). The Bears was bigger by about a foot all around, and also seemed more substantial, more waterproof. Unfortunately it also felt less comfortable, like sitting on a camping tarp. This "Odoland" was much softer -- very similar to the "Meafteryou" brand except for the travel pouch, which here is conveniently attached to the blanket. Genius! This way I don't have to keep track of it and also it's really easy to stuff the blanket back in. The plastic snap could be stronger (I have a feeling we're going to need to reinforce it with a safety pin), but overall this design looks most promising. Still need to try it out in the real world but as long as it's reasonably water repellent we'll be thrilled (I'll change the star rating if it's not).

Fed up of sitting on spare carrier bags to spare yourself the indignity of wet grass bum when out walking? or maybe like me your carrier bags are too full of rubbish picked up after others to sit on?This little pocket blanket is fab - lightweight, easy to unfurl and very easy to fold and pack back up (I didn't think I'd ever get it back down and into the pocket size but I easily did), it's big enough for 2 adults to sit and even lie back on. If it does get damp, it'll dry out very quickly and is easy to wipe clean/down. It's even got a handy little tab for you to attach a key ring or karabiner clip to so it won't get lost in your bag or for you to hang off your belt. Well worth the money
