I purchased the pro plus a month ago for my trip to El Nido Palwan Philippines. I bought the dive computer because it can download my dives to my phone. Once I got to the Philippines the dive computer will not download the dive data. I paid $899 for the Pro Plus 4 and over 12k for my vacation. I called Oceanic and I was told that was not their problem. The problem lies with the APP that they also own. I really feel like I could have bought a different dive computer for half the price that will do the same thing in the condition the Pro Plus is in now. Oceanic customer service is bad. I have played email tag with them for a month.

Now days we all need our dive Computers. and this one for me is great. It's not on my wrist, it is on my console. It is removable, so you don't damage it When you're moving your gear around.

Have done 5 dives so far with this computer. Very easy to set up, it connects well with my phone. The only issue I have is it stays powered up for the no-fly timer which I would think wastes battery. Overall I love it so far. Nice clear display, easy controls, and all the info I need.

3 dives in and so far I'm glad I invested it in. Love the air integration and being able to track my SAC rate. Easy to see and comprehend. Only knock is I dive nitrox and the O2 settings are a little cumbersome on the console, more so than my previous Aeries A300 XT. Bluetooth is great for downloading dives. App is definitely easier to configure O2 but I'm not about to be that guy and bust out my phone in between saltwater dives.

Really appreciate the larger numbers. Programming is easy. Dive monitoring and safety stop metering clear and easy to follow. QD and cell phone interface make it perfect for us.

NOT THE FAULT OF THE SELLER here but this computer is dangerous. Continues to revert from whatever nitrox settings we have set for one dive and between dives automatically reverts to a 50% mix. Two months ago, she didn't notice it had reverted to 50% and subsequently got locked out of her computer for 4th of July weekends of dives. Oceanic / Huish industries told us it is a normal function.Also the two button menu system frustrates her and even though there's a large LED display, the menu system is jiberish. I should have gotten her a Shearwater Teric and have been done with it.

Just got the new PP4, much like the PP3 but with larger readout and BLUETOOTH. Love the BT feature, makes downloads and uploads effortless; set up the device and link with your phone. AWESOME!
