Turn on any of the BBC stations or Australia News, etc from the USA. If you have not tried one of these, they are inexpensive and lots to listen to. Recommend Ocean Digital due to the simplicity search engine and database of stations, plus ability to program your own.

So far, this radio is a perfect replacement for my old Logic Squeezebox radio. The set-up was quick and easy. The sound quality is good. It's a perfect fit for my kitchen, and the price was right. five stars for now*****

I love everything about it. This is the best radio I have ever owned! I love music of all kinds, so I love the opportunity to listen to music by country, state, city. It's amazing! I can find every station I ever dreamed of or listened to as a kid. I can even search in my favorite genre's depending on my mood, and the remote is just an added bonus. I like this more than my bose. :)

I bought this to replace my beloved NPR/Livio radio that was rendered useless when the Reciva station information site went offline. Overall I love this radio. It looks great and sound is very good for what it is.I didn't need to read the user manual to get it setup. The display and fonts are very small, which is one of my few complaints. For the reviewers complaining about the sound, I say to remember that this is a table radio and not a premium sound system. The EQ feature is helpful, but you can only expect so much from a unit this size and price. It includes a full sized remote, which is much easier to use than the membrane style key pad typically used on small radios and components. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

For starts, the FM portion of this radio appears to be an after thought. But I didn't buy it for the FM, I bought it for internet stations. To that end it works really great! The reason for the purchase was that I had a Logitech Squeezebox internet radio that sadly became unsupported by the manufacturer. Workarounds were not worth the effort. This Ocean Digital radio runs rings around my old unit. A strength is the stations setup, which will allow you to set up stations internally, but it works so easily and slick with an external, unattached computer. With a computer's full screen and keyboard, stations can be quickly found, entered and organized into the favorites list - up to 99 stations. The internal stereo sound is okay, but I use the headphone jack to pump audio into a sound system which sounds great! Unlike the old unit, lots of information displays, such as program particulars and encoding info. There are other nice features, many of which I won't need.

This is an extremely easy to set up, great sounding radio for the price. The wood case definitely adds a touch of class, and the menus are easy to navigate. Out of the box and running in about 30 seconds after bonding it to my wifi network. But there's a bit of disappointment too. After throwing away two perfectly good digital radios that went belly-up when "Reciva" bit the dust, I did not want another internet radio that is locked to one particular aggregator. Despite some reviews that made it appear it was possible to enter your own URLs on this model I cannot find any way to do it. It appears with this radio, it's Skytune or nothing. Not sure if I am going to keep it at this point.

I have had internet radios in the past. This Ocean Digital radio was returned…..let me count the reasons…First – Quality...the speakers kept vibrating and the sound was distorted. Tried every equalizer setting, nothing helped. In my opinion, it never should have left the factory.Second – FM reception. There was none. I have several portable am/fm radios in the house, all easily receive at least 6 stations. I was unable to get any with this unit.Third – Setup “Cumbersome” and I am being very kind here. The Skytune interface and the setup of favorite stations was in my opinion “Rube Goldberg-ish” at best.Forth – Cosmetic. To me the unit looked like a hobby set, not a finished electronic device.Very disappointed….will not be buying any Ocean Digital products after this.

It is a nice looking table internet radio with very good sound for its size and price. I spent months trying to decide which internet radio to purchase. (portable vs table) cheap vs expensive. I decided this radio was the best option doe me and I have no regrets. One can not get a lot for $100 now days. As other reviewers have stated; being able to sort the 30,000+ radio stations around the world by location and type of music or talk is a lot of fun (without a costly music subscription). For that reason I think this purchase was a $100 well spent. It is just $10 more than the DC/AD mono battery version. While the one I purchased is AC only the stereo speakers I feel is of greater value (to me) than a rechargeable battery since I have cable wifi and can not take it on the road, but AC still allows me to move it around the house as desired. Also both come with a nice remote control which makes searching, adding favorites, changing stations and volume easy.
