Yes it's real brass and the bolts are 5/16ths in diameter. However, only one of the nuts was the correct size. The other one was 1/4 inch and unusable. I ordered these specifically to avoid steel which corrodes and had to use a steel nut anyway. Need to get their quality control in order.

Love these bolts. Used this brand when replacing my 3 toilets. Much better than the brand for the same size I initially bought at Home Depot. The quality of the bolt head and washer of higher quality.

Description is wrong. I received 2-1/4" bolts. Expected 3-1/4" bolts per the description. Returned.

They are Johni-Bolts, the industry standard. 5/16ths... always 5/16ths.
