I bought these hooks specifically for my beach hammock and they are great. Easy to use and they lock. They are a little heavy but well worth it because of the weight limit.

These have a very strong closing spring. The locking nuts are smooth.but might require a bit of oil in very hot.or cold outdoor conditions. But no issues for indoor use. So far tested 300 pound object with no problem. Intend on future purchase an daisy chain them. They may seem a bit more pricey but quailty built.

Update: The locking barrel moves along threads by a screwing action. The threads would bind up and get so stuck on both of these that they are both stripped now. I literally stripped out the threads in order to open/close the caribeener. (HIGHLY recommend checking machining process to enhance threads during production, and to grease them before sending them out. I greased mine too late, already stripped.)Product is strong, heavy, the barrel stays in place once tightened.Excellent for my large dog. Smaller clips by the same company recommended for medium sized dogs.

A good quality, strong, locking carabiner. I use this to attach multiple leashes to a short leash to walk several dogs. I can also hang the poo bag dispenser and my keys from it too. Its a great size and easy to use. Not too heavy but still strong.
