It is the OEM replacement from Obrien. Don't mess around with the offbrant "equivalents". Swallow hard and pay the high price for the Obrien brand, and be happy!

The plug worked perfect for us we ha've the 72 inch o'Brian screamer. Perfect fit ! It also had great timing I had ordered it 4days before my river trip and it showed up the day before we left . I took a chance it would get here in time and it did I had found it in store for a little over $20 so the $$$ was great on Here even with the shipping it still came to about half of what it was in store :-)

What a surprise to find that the thread on this valve was smaller than the one required for my inflatable tube. Nowhere did I find a description of different size valves or even how big the diameter is on this one.So obviously the description "for all tow tubes" is incorrect, so make sure you measure the hole this goes into first.The valve I received has a thread diameter of a fraction over 3/4 inch. My tube needed 1 inch.Rating *** since product is probably fine, but description is inadequate.

Direct replacement for O'Brien tubes. May NOT fit other brands. I have non-O'Brien tubes and the valve OD is slightly larger. If you need a non-O'Brien Boston valve, buy the "two pack" that Amazon sells and use the one that fits.
