Polypropylene Flag Line

Ram-Pro offers an all-purpose durable and lightweight diamond braid polypropylene flag line rope that measures 80 feet long. It is considered to be a must-have item for every home, farm, car, truck, marine, canoe, well, flagpole, backpack, & gear collection. A heavy duty product which is made up of tough polypropylene. It also has the capability of withstanding all weather, along with great resistance to chemical exposures such as petroleum.

Diamond Braid Polypropylene All Purpose Flagline Rope

Numerous Applications

It can be applied to multiple scenarios such as hanging flagpole halyards, tying boats to dock, mooring and anchor lines, tie down truck cargo, pulling water out of your well with a bucket, swinging, climbing, art and decorative knotwork crafts, drying lines of laundry clothes, deck/dock railings, water and snow skiing, crowd control, golf courses, pool safety, electrical line underground pulling and playing jump rope.

Diamond Braid Polypropylene All Purpose Flagline Rope

Multiple Benefits

Our polypropylene rope is especially treated to resist sun damaging effects. Despite the fact that the exposure to water can weaken the strength of polypropylene, this effect is so slight that polypropylene is still commonly used for mooring lines & anchor lines. Moreover, this rope is a great choice for any tie-down because of its zero loss of strength even when wet, low stretch, & sustenance. The all-around durability of the rope makes it useful for any job in any situation.

Diamond Braid Polypropylene All Purpose Flagline Rope

High End Specification

The diamond braid is constructed from a polypropylene core surrounded by a braided soft polypropylene cover where each alternate loop is twisted in the opposite direction which results in a 100% rope with high strength and good shock absorption characteristics. This torsion-balanced construction prevents heckling & maintains dimensional stability. This braid is a high strength rope that has a smooth soft feel making for easy handling & eye splicing. These high-end specifications make it a top-notch product in the marketplace.

As I was removing my old American flag from an outside flag pole I noticed that the rope was frayed. I decided to replace it before putting up the new flag. This rope worked as required. I have to wait and see how long it will last.

I’m using the rope with small pulleys. The quality is superior. Could not be better.

Rope made with some toxic materials. I got chemical burns on my palms. Spend large amount on doctors and treatment. Very painful and bad experience. I do not recommend this product!!!

My outside clothes line fell down during an ice storm a few years ago, and I wanted to replace it with an easily removable system. I purchased this rope and some snap-buckles and was able to make an easy put-up and take-down clothes line. I've used this system for two years now, and the rope as performed very well, with no unwanted fraying or stretching.

I bought this to use as anchor line (rode) for my little 14 flat bottom jon boat. I only ever take this boat out on small lakes and thus my anchor is just a little 3lb grappling hook. No, its not a real anchor and I would never use this on a river or anyplace with current or tide. I needed about 50 - 60 feet of durable small diameter line that would fit easily through my anchor pulley system but not something that tangles easily. This line is stiff enough that it doesn't get twisted and kinked. I keep my anchor line uncoiled and just randomly pulled into a 5 gal. bucket and when not in use the anchor and pulley/lock mount go into the bucket. This system works quite well for me and I can deploy or recover my anchor quite quickly and easily by myself from where I sit in the stern of my little fishing boat. I like this line a lot. It is well made and looks very durable.

Ok, the headline pretty much spells it out. I think this will do nicely, but one needs time to give a proper rating as to durability and usable life, and I hope not to find that out for a few years. But, at first look and first use, I think it will be a good rope. I"m using it to replace a too short rope that was provided with a pulley set purchased a while back, used once, and found to be equipped with not enough rope (60'). This rope, at 80' was easy to string in to all the pulley wheels, makes a nice smooth operation, and looks like it will be great. The 4 stars for durability and sturdiness are because one just doesn't know what it's going to be like after a year in use, otherwise it would be 5 stars all across.
