I bought this for my new lamb. I wanted to start halter training as soon as possible. She is 12 weeks old and is very shy. Unfortunately, this is small is a little too large. We will improvise until she gets a little larger.I love the color and the quality is great.

We purchased the small size Tahoe Tack Nylon Overlay Sheep and Goat Halter with Padded Noseband. We've had this harness on our 4 year old Dorper ewe for a couple of months now. We had to poke a couple of extra holes in it to make it small enough to stay on her, but a hot ice pick made quick work out of it. We definitely will buy another when the small size becomes available again.

This item was listed as new. As you can clearly see, it was NOT new. There was brown animal hair all over it and it had a very bad smell to it. It came with no tags attached except for the manufacturer tag that stays on the halter which was clearly worn down. It’s pretty disappointing that a manufacturer would try to resell an obvious return without even inspecting it. I can’t say anything about the fit since it smelled so bad that I was not about to put it on my sheep.

We had purchased an identical version of this halter for our eight month old bull calf, and was so impressed that we opted a goat size to use on the two month old Dexter calves and my sheep/goats as needed. This allows us both flexibility and options for all of our critters when needed. Great material, well made and durable. We will definitely buy more in the future!

I absolutely love this halter! I got a small for my 6 month old St. Croix ram and it looks great. It was fairly easy to put on, which is good because he isn't use to being touched at all. I was nervous about buying one because of the lack of reviews but I am so glad I did!!!
