It definitely works but not like you might expect. Definitely helps with excessive sweating and fogging for long sessions.I stream with my oculus and with my charging strap sometime run for 6-8 hours and this is exactly what I needed. If you're looking for air conditioning in your oculus it might not be what you expect. The quality is decent but the fan does like to fall out and the extender used to house it is a little difficult to install/keep in sometimes, but you can find solutions to fix the looseness. The battery lasts for a long while and it doesn't make it uncomfortable in any way definitely recommend.

On the topic of preventing fog, it was a complete success. I have done multiple workouts with no issue. On the topic of battery life, it is on track to go well above advertised. So why only 3-star. It is unbelievably uncomfortable. There is very little padding and what is there is not well placed. It is basically hard plastic against your forehead and cheeks.

Amazing design, small fan is easy to use, refreshing gameplay and provides more time to work out without the need to get off the headset!

SUCKS! First, it should NOT be listed as a "cooling fan" because all it does is blow BABY BREATH AIR out of the top and into the air! It does NOT circulate the air onto my face! It does NOT "cool" my face or the face device and it sure as heck did NOT keep it from fogging! THE AIR DOES NOT COME OUT OF THE BOTTOM AND CIRCULATE INTO/ONTO THE FACE! WORST of all it does NOT properly fit because it does NOT block out all of the light! I was able to see lights in my peripheral vision on both sides! Super uncomfortable. I'd like a refund. I'll send it back. I have all the original parts in perfect condition.

This product is awesome! I had terrible problems with sweating prior to buying this product which would make my lenses fog up making it unplayable. Even on the weakest setting, this fan helps reduce sweating and completely stops the lenses from fogging. I highly recommend this to anyone who sweats a lot in VR.

This defogger works exactly as described. Yes, you will continue to sweat into the mask as you would if you were working out anywhere. The defogger exchanges air by pulling the foggy air out of the mask. It is not an air conditioner; it is an exhaust fan. It attaches very well to the supplied faceplate and if properly installed can easily be charged without removal. When I go in for a workout I warm up with a couple rounds of Pistol Whip, do 20 minutes of Les Mills, then box some rounds in Thrill of the Fight. Normally this would mean I would have to stop, remove the Oculus, dry my face, wait a a few minutes to cool down in order to see the game. I would have to sometimes do this 5 or 6 times in one workout and a lot of times, coming out of VR during exercise, I would quit. With this defogger I would estimate I could stay in there until the Oculus ran out of battery. Well worth the $20!
