I bought this NuWave air fryer to replace another brand. I am very impressed with everything about the NuWave. It seems to cook faster and more thoroughly than the other one and the ceramic non-stick coating is far superior to the regular non-stick coating that was on the old one. In fact, the coating on the old model started peeling off after only 6-7 months use. I love all the presets and the ease of use of this air fryer. Also, it came with a very nice recipe book and the grey color looks very nice sitting on my kitchen counter. I am very pleased with this air fryer.I also like the way the preheat feature works. You press "preheat" and then set the time and temperature of what you want to cook. The fryer preheats first and then beeps and tells you it's time to put the food in. Then, it starts cooking at the right temp and time. I love that I don't have to do it in two separate actions...preheat setting and then cooking setting... like my old one. Overall very impressed with it.

I have had Cosori Basket air fryer for a few years now. It started to make weird noises with the fan. So I decided to try a different type of air fryer. First, I tried a toaster oven air fryer version the door leaked heat and grease. I returned it. Then I tried this one. Here are the benefits:1. Basket is larger2. Easier to clean around the heating element.3. Basket is dishwasher safe4. coating is ceramic and a bit safer5. overall easier to clean than my cosori was in every way6. Lots or presets and has a shake reminder7. Quieter overall8. an elevated version of a basket air fryer9. Priced rightNegatives1. Shake reminder is not loud enough and I have missed it several times2. It has a delay for the preheat that is sort of weird and not user intuitive3. Not what I would recommend as a first air fryer because it is not as intuitive / basic as my cosori

I love my large 8qt. Cream colored air fryer. It has easy to use controls with a removable grill insert- I spray it each time with Pam cooking spray, can also use other spray oils that withstand high temperatures. Food slides right out. Can cook a whole chicken - turns out fabulous each time.

Cooks well, don’t really like the fumes that come out in the beginning

I emailed customer service as I did not know there were silicone feet on the tray. I have a parrot and I don't want to kill it with toxic fumes. They responded within 12 hours. The item is tested PFAS free. Some say they are but have not been tested. Also, the heavy plastic smell did go away after running the unit on high heat 5 times. As for cooking it's been really awesome! If you have birds you should keep them away from the kitchen anyway however, this unit is as safe as they get.

This is my first experience with an Air Fryer. While it takes some getting used to (what temp and time) so far I have had great success air frying fresh food, frozen food, and leftovers.Included in the box was an extensive cooking guide with 100 programmed pre-sets for just about everything you can cook in the Fryer along with a recipe book.

After 5 years, I decided it was time to replace my old air fryer. Looking around for one was tough, and my #1 concern was finding something nontoxic. I tried two other air fryers from different brands before I bought the Brio: the first one had PFAS contrary to what I'd read about it, the second one was supposedly nontoxic but left a strong chemical smell in my home for nearly a day after using it. I decided to give the Brio a shot, and on my third swing, I hit a home run. This air fryer's everything I wanted and more. It's got a ton of space, 8qt compared to my old 3qt and the other two models at 6 and 4 qts respectively.I can believe the claim that it's free of PFAS, lead, and other junk in its nonstick coating, which they also claim is all natural. After briefly washing and running it before use, aside from an initial slight and normal chemical burnoff odor, it's not smelled of chemicals whatsoever or made any food taste weird. It also doesn't leave a weird residue or film on my fingers after washing it like chemical nonstick coating does. On the contrary to all that, it cooks food so much better than my old air fryer and it tastes so much better too. This right here was the absolute most important thing for me when looking for an air fryer, and so far I feel very safe cooking pretty much anything in it.It comes with a hefty recipe guide and tons of presets, but I've not tried any of them yet. I'm too lazy to cook anything fancy, so I'll usually just throw stuff in and go. So far, it's cooked potatoes and fish to absolute perfection on the 1500w Air Fry setting. Very tempted to try baking something in it at some point. For the price, I don't think I could've found a better air fryer, and a looong warranty has me pretty comfortable in this one being a keeper. If something crazy happens I'll update this review, but otherwise, so far so great with this air fryer.
