Fantastic stock pot with an excellent build quality. The lip of the pot is polished with a rolled edge for fewer drips when pouring out liquid (ie: stock.) The base is tapered, making it ideal for induction cooking because it narrows two full inches and aligns to hot plate perfectly (see pics.) Outer edge to edge diameter at top is 11” and 5/8” (not including handles) and the base diameter is precisely 9” 5/8”. This for the 15 quart model. We make a lot of stock (mostly chicken and veal (then espagnole and demi glace)) and this workhorse pot has become the foundation of sauce making. Highly recommend for any family kitchen operations or general enthusiasts that appreciate the importance of stock in a kitchen (or chili or spaghetti sauce or, or, or…) Totally pleased with the purchase.

This is a beautiful and heavy weight quality stock pot. The 8 quart size is perfect for making a large pot of soup. Like that it has a lid vent and nice handles. I especially like that it is engraved on the bottom with brand and size. To me that equals better quality. Very pleased.

Now, I am not saying that this good pot made my chili the best ever but it is a good, solid SS pot. A tall lid handle and wide handles with a good ergonomic design. Good heat conduction, no sticking food, tho as to ease of cleaning, I'll report back. The price point is excellent. A 1 year warranty and a FREE GIFT when you register your purchase. Thats almost as good as a dress with pockets! The size is perfect for a foursome. I am very happy with this purchase.

I was replacing a very old 8 quart stock pan. It was provably over 20 years old. The handles would get hot, so I am looking forward to using my new 8 quart stock pan without burning my hands on the handles. I make my Chili and soups in a 8 quart stock pan. Highly recommend. I love the big handles on the pan. Have not use the pan yet. So this is an on-going review.

I ordered this because it was reasonably priced and had lots of good reviews. I need a pot big enough for my Sious Vide set up and maybe canning down the road. Well? This thing is amazingly well built. And frankly way better than I expected. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

I was skeptical when I bought this as I had never heard of the NutriChef brand. But it is high quality and functional. The bottom is nice and thick, works with induction burners. The handles are well shaped and well placed. It is easy to dump the entire pot of water into your strainer when making pasta. I use it for both pasta and soup. It's very basic, but you don't need anything fancy for pasta and soup. I read some reviews about the glass lid cracking, but realized they all referred to the much larger model. This size, 6 quarts, there are no reports of cracking lids and mine is doing just fine. The glass lid is nice as you can see when your soup gets to a good simmer. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

It's a great pot - very large (15 qt). Probably larger than I need for most purposes but it will come in handy for seafood boils and the like. It's not the heaviest pot out there but it's thick enough and easy to handle - not too heavy. I had a dish stewing in it for many hours and there was some burned residue that stuck to the walls of the pot but it cleaned right up without any problem. Very reasonably priced for the quality.
