This made a great gift! I got it for my mom for Christmas because she's an occupational therapist and she loved it! I also got sticky notes with it so that it would be ready to use. I would definitely recommend this sticky note pad!

I got this for a co-worker who was promoted to Assistant Director where we work. I paired it with a pad of sticky notes and a nice pen, packaged it up cute and she loved it! The writing is pretty crisp without any glitches. And the ink is a little metallic-y so it shimmers just a bit when the light hits it. The sticky notes fit perfectly in the routed out space. And there is even a little groove to accommodate your thumb when peeling off a sheet from the pad. It’s real wood that is smooth and sanded all around. But it retains the grain and ridges of the wood which I think is cool. Mine did seem to be a little darker stained than what showed on the product page but I don’t mind and I think it looks lovely. I like that it is small and won’t take up a lot of space on her desk but the words “Assistant Director” are clearly visible and legible from a short distance. Good deal for price listed. Would recommend.

I ordered the Nurse Educator version of this note and pen holder. It is exactly as pictured but much more lightweight than I was expecting. I would prefer it have more heft as a desktop item, as pulling sticky notes from it moves it around constantly.I do like the aesthetic of the piece but think that it would make more sense if the word “respectful” was “respected.”As others have pointed out, this piece does not come with any notes or pen. Overall, it’s a cute piece, but not the best quality.
