Got these for a project that required the whole thing be made of wood... my bad, the centers/handles are all plastic, so I can't use it.

The kids had a lot of fun making the tops. We used acrylic paint pens to decorate them. Everyone was able to assemble their own top after painting the pieces. They stayed together and spun nicely after assembly as well.

These are not as heavy duty as some other ones we have so because they are light weight, they don't spin as long but the patterns are really cool, fun to paint, and a good deal for the money. They are all sturdy enough to play with and use over and over and my kids loved picking out and painting them with different styles.
