I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical when I ordered the Nulea M501. The price was so reasonable, I didn’t expect much. Boy, was I wrong! This trackball mouse is absolutely fantastic. The build quality is surprisingly high – it feels solid and comfortable in my hand. The thumb control is incredibly smooth and precise, making cursor movements effortless. It’s a HUGE relief for my wrist compared to a traditional mouse. The tracking is amazingly accurate, and I love that I can use it anywhere, even on my cluttered desk! Being able to switch between my laptop, tablet, and desktop with the 3-device connectivity is a game-changer. And the rechargeable battery? A total plus! The fact that I can get weeks of use on a single charge is just phenomenal. For this price, I am absolutely shocked at how well this performs. Six buttons, great ergonomics, and all the ease you could ask for. If you’re on the fence, jump off and get this mouse, you won’t regret it! Highly, highly recommended! (I think this one is at least equal to brand name trackball mouse which price is 4 times higher)I will be buying other models from this brand for sure.

Die Maus liegt wegen der abgerundeten Kanten und der rauhen Oberfläche extrem angenehm in der Hand. Sie fühlt sich dabei sehr wertig an. Ich habe die Maus seit einigen Monaten in Gebrauch. Der Trackball war zu Anfang extrem leichtgängig, was sich, trotz bester Sorgfalt, mittlerweile etwas verschlechtert hat. Ich liebe es, wenn der Trackball extrem leichtgängig ist. Ich versuchte deshalb, als er schwergängiger wurde, den ursprünglichen Zustand wiederherzustellen. Dazu wollte ich kein Maschinenöl nehmen, denn ich bekomme das ja dann auch an die Finger. Das riecht nicht angenehm und ist möglicherweise auch nicht gut für die Haut. Zunächst versuchte ich es mit Kokosöl, war davon aber nicht so ganz begeistert. Das beste Ergebnis erziehlte ich mit Nivea- Creme. Die schmiere ich zu dem Zweck an die kleinen Lager, nachdem ich den Trackball herausgenommen habe. Das ist jetzt allerdings jammern auf hohem Niveau. Der Vorgänger von Logitech war grundsätzlich wesentlich schwergängiger. Auch die ProtoArc- Maus, die ich ebenfalls in Gebrauch habe, läuft etwas rauher, aber auch völlig o.k.Der einzige echte Minuspunkt, den ich festgestellt habe, ist die Tatsache, dass die Maus nach einer Zeit einschläft. Zum Aufwachen muss ich die linke Maustaste drücken. Dabei wird eine Klickfunktion ausgeführt, die dann ggf. irgendeine Funktion auf dem Rechner ausführt, die ich nicht beabsichtigt hatte. Meistens ist es aber kein Problem. Dass es auch anders geht beweisen Logitech und ProArc. Hier schläft die Maus nicht ein, der Akku hält aber ähnlich lange oder im Fall von Logitech sogar deutlich länger.Aber damit kann ich gut leben, da die Maus ansonsten wirklich tadellos funktioniert und es einfach eine Freude ist, mit ihr zu arbeiten! Sie ist sicherlich eine der besten Trackball- Mäuse auf dem Markt, wenn nicht sogar die beste! Ich würde sie ohne zu zögern sofort wieder kaufen!

As a long-time user of the old wired Logitech Trackman Wheel models, I was hesitant about trying this.I had bad experiences with TWO of Logitech's newer M570 models wearing out their buttons in less than 6 months time. I even bought used Trackman Wheel models online after they became discontinued, and those lasted a lot longer than the newer M570s.I've had this Nulea for 3 months now and use it daily, and can safely recommend it for anyone looking for an alternative. It has been reliable and works very well for someone used to the Logitech models.The position for your hands is ever-so-slightly different than the old Trackman Wheel's slope/angle, and it does take a few days to adjust if you're so used to another model. But it's very slight and not anything that feels drastically different. Once you've acclimated, it feels very natural and comfortable, even for all-day use.Just like with the Logitech models, it successfully keeps my wrists and hands pain-free, where with a normal mouse (which I gave up decades ago for this reason) I'd have bad hand cramps and wrist pain from the repetitive movements involved.Other reviewers have mentioned Nulea has great customer service, but so far I haven't had any need to confirm that myself. Everything is working great for me. I chose to use it via the wireless adapter rather than bluetooth, simply because my bluetooth connection is a bit spotty at times for my liking (with other devices too, not just this trackball) but it has been a great experience using the wireless USB adapter.For anyone who happens to use Linux, it works flawlessly on Linux Mint for me. The sleep mode is handy for those times when I forget to turn it off overnight, or just in general for idle periods to help conserve battery power. When it enters its sleep mode, all you do is click the left button once to wake it back up, and then you can move the mouse and use it like normal again.After the initial charging period when I first got the device, I've only had to charge it I think once or maybe twice, in a 3 month period, so the battery lasts for a long time on a charge.The DPI button is really helpful to have too, and I like to set it to the max amount. I was sorely missing this feature when I briefly went back to using my spare old Logitech Trackman Wheel on another device for a time. I'll probably order a second one of these Nulea models for that device at some point honestly, now that I know they are reliable and great to use.It might seem like a small thing too, but I also love that you can pick different color trackballs. I've got the gold model and really like how it looks with the dark grey.The only odd thing I have noticed so far is that the scroll wheel sometimes has a bit of a squeak or "chirp" to it after a while of using it (I thought it was a bird outside my window the first few times I heard it, until I realized) but it doesn't seem to impair functionality any, and most of the time it isn't an issue.Right now as I type this and scroll the wheel it's not making any such noises at all, for example. Even when it does squeak a bit, it's nothing that feels like it's faulty or in any danger of breaking. So far it is definitely not a problem, and my experience overall with this trackball continues to be a very positive one.

Terminando mi segunda ingeniería...era más joven...y acompañado de Joaquin Sabina, recuerdo está su canción al iniciarme con este tipo de ratón de bola y es realmente fantástico, cómodo, útil...Puedes ajustar todos los parámetros de cualquier ratón, pero veo fundamental la velocidad del puntero, si ajustas movimiento diagonal es increible lo ágil que llega a ser sin salirte de alfombrillas ni cables molestos!La pila dura una barbaridad (si es alcalina y de calidad, fácilmente un año!)Para limpiar los sensores, desde abajo presionas la bola por el agujero inferior y saldrás del sitio sin esfuerzo, verás que tiene tres "apoyos", son los sensores y en ellos se suele ensuciar de pelusas, sudor del dedo...porquería que debes limpiar regularmente y montar la bola, una suave presión y listo, verás la bola más dinámica y el uso más cómodo!Solo veo ventajas a este ratón, de hecho es mi indudable compañero de viajes de trabajo! Siempre lo llevo y a todos los sitios, y no pocas veces veo personas que también están muy satisfechas con este modelo concreto!

The original mouse lasted 9 months before it wasn't reliable. I contacted the manufacturer and had an amazing experience. Even with the issue will highly recommend this product and all others by this company. SERIOUSLY, if you have a issue with the product contact the manufacturer and they will make it right!!!I have never used a trackball mouse before, but found this one easy to use. It charges quickly, and the DPI settings are easy to use, but will change to lower settings as the battery power gets weaker.I really enjoyed using the mouse but at around 9 months it started acting up. Constantly and randomly disconnecting from both the fob and the bluetooth. The connecting and disconnecting sound effects would happen a dozen times within a minute then be fine for an hour or three then do it again. Even when connected the mouse trackball will randomly stop working.I have tried everything I could find to fix the issues (cleaning, etc.) and nothing works.Feels like kind of a rip off to pay 30$ for it to last less than a year.

Have used Logitech trackball devices for my PC for decades, going back to the Logitech Marble and before. The last two have been wireless units that use a propriatery USB dongle. This new Nulea trackball is connected via Bluetooth and works perfectly. It's slightly larger than the Logitech M570 and fits my large hand better. The Forward and Back buttons are raised and slightly different in feel and are easier to click. The dots per inch button cycles through the acceleration function and seems easier to set compared to the Logitech M570. Rechargeable battery life seems to be excellent so far. Deducting one star because after resting overnight, the trackball does not wake with a button press as indicated by the supplier. The top indicator light is a steady red. (I have emailed them but no response yet.) You have to pick up the trackball, turn it over and cycle the switch to OFF then back ON. No big deal really, but it certainly does not operate as advertized.Response from supplier: "Thanks for contacting us and letting us know your concerns.For this issue, could you please to fully charge the mouse and see if the issue exists?Also, we noticed that your order was placed on Feb 3, 2023, when did the issue occur? We can better help you after getting more information.Do not worry, we will try best to help you if the product is defective.Brian"My reply: Fully charged the mouse, just like when it was brand new, and it made no difference. The issue first occurred when I originally received it [February 12th] and charged it. This has been the situation since it was new and first used.
