It holds well. It does have some weight to it. Easy to use and stratifying clicking sound when it turns. The “holder” that holds the page in place can be hard on the book or have harsh pressure, so I would keep that in mind.

I loved this item for read books and for my pc and ipad.

I got this so that I could read my Study Bible while taking an online course. My Bible is very thick, but the holder is more than capable of handling the weight, no matter the angle I set. Love the smooth bamboo that my Book rests against. This thing's really easy to use, designed so that basically any size book can easily be read with comfort. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for nursing school! I got the stand thats 13x9x3. After lots of looking, took a gamble on this one. Fits the big-a$$ Med-Surg Book which is 2.5 inches thick and 8 3/4inch wide and 11 1/4inch tall, - Wide open its 19 inches across. Which is the thickest book IMO so everything else is all gravy. Its a tight squeeze with the page stoppers (especially if you are at the beginning or end of the book), but you can bend them to make it work! Was starting to get some terrible neck & back pain and now I can look UP and read and not constantly down. It is VERY sturdy, angles are great and the rotation is nice too. Looks cool too. BUT wanted to leave this review for other nursing student out there since there wernt any that i could find. Take care of your posture! We got this!! I honestly don't think you could find a better on from what I'v researched. No complaints.

I bought this book stand to use at communion table or altar when I need to read liturgy with my hands free. As I get older, it's harder to read the liturgy when the book is laying flat on the table, and I needed it higher and at a better angle. This stand allows me to get the liturgy at any angle and any height I need. I have found I don't even need to get it to the highest position in order to read it while standing at the table (I am 5'7" and the table is standard table height). It is sturdy enough to hold even my heaviest study Bible without even the slightest movement. I have found that keeping it on my desk with my study Bible on it helps me with sermon preparation - frees up more space on my desk for taking notes, opening thick commentaries, etc., and brings the Bible up a little higher and easier to read. My only complaint is that it takes a bit of strength and determination to raise the stand higher, but that is also what makes it so sturdy and dependable when in position. I do worry that the more I adjust it (because I am raising and lowering it to multiple positions every week) that it will start to loosen up and eventually not be quite so dependable, but for now (after 10 weeks of solid use) it is just as sturdy today as the day I bought it. The rotation is easy without any resistance, which is good for when I need to move my own position at the communion table. The bamboo and metal actually looks quite nice on the communion table - I worried that it would look chintzy and out of place, but it really looks good.

I recently had a stroke that left me paralyzed on one side. I’m an avid reader of real books and it was frustrating not being able to read because I couldn’t hold a book and flip pages anymore. This book rest has helped me find a little bit of normalcy and has cheered me up more than any of the visitors I’ve had. The only negative is trying to get it into a good position. The hinges are very tight and hard to move. Would definitely recommend this product.

Zuerst einmal: Dieser Artikel wurde mir kostenfrei im Rahmen von Amazon Vine zur Verfügung gestellt, aber ich bewerte meine Artikel grundsätzlich so wie ich zufrieden bin, ohne mich vom Preis irritieren zu lassen.Schon als ich die Abbildung dieses Buchständers gesehen hatte, war ich begeistert, und das hat sich nach der Lieferung auch nicht geändert.Der Karton mit dem Artikel kam zusammen mit anderen Amazon Bestellungen an, und schon beim Auspacken bemerkte ich, wie sorgsam damit umgegangen wurde. Innerhalb des Kartons befand er sich in einer weichen Plastikhülle, alle vier (abgerundeten) Ecken waren geschützt durch Hartplastikecken, die man mit Schaumplastikfolie ausgefüllt hatte, alle Flächen, die irgendwie in reibenden Kontakt zueinander hätten kommen können, waren auch damit bedeckt - es gab also keine Gefahr, daß hier irgend etwas hätte verkratzt werden können. Es war auch eine kleine Anleitung in fünf verschiedenen Sprachen (auch Deutsch) vorhanden, auf der nochmal (unterstützt durch Bildchen) das erläutert wurde, was man schon auf der Außenseite des Kartons anhand der Bilder erkennen konnte. Wegen der Einfachheit der Bedienung ist das vorbildlich, wäre aber im Grunde gar nicht nötig gewesen.Nun kam die erste Schwierigkeit, das Aufklappen. Die Scharniere sind wirklich sehr schwergängig, man muß schon gehörige Kraft aufbieten um sie in die Stellung zu bringen, die man haben will. Das sehe ich allerdings nicht als nachteilig an (wenn man sich erstmal daran gewöhnt hat), denn so ist sichergestellt, daß auch schwerere Gegenstände (Bücher, Tablets, Laptops etc.) da bleiben wo man sie haben will, und nicht langsam immer weiter nach unten sinken.Man kann mit dem einen Gelenk die Höhe des Halters einstellen und dann mit dem anderen den Neigungswinkel, und wenn man das dann optimal eingestellt hat, kann man das Ganze immer noch um 360° drehen. Auf dem schweren runden Standfuß bleibt er auch bei Auflage eines schweren Wälzers unerschütterlich stehen und durch insgesamt fünf Silikonflächen an der Unterseite steht er nicht nur rutschfest, sondern es werden auch Kratzer auf empfindlichen Möbeln verhindert.Ein Brett am unteren Rand der Auflagefläche verhindert das Herunterrutschen des aufgelegten Gegenstandes, und im Fall von Büchern, Noten oder ähnlichem kann man sie mit den beiden (ziemlich straffen) Federn fixieren, die vorne auch wieder mit Silikon ummantelt sind damit man sich nichts kaputt reißt.Der Buchständer sieht mit seiner Kombination aus Bambus und Metall nicht nur sehr edel aus, sondern ist auch qualitativ sehr hochwertig - ich hätte nicht gedacht, daß so etwas aus China kommt, da muß ich meine Vorurteile wohl nochmal etwas überdenken. ;-)Die Einsatzmöglichkeiten sind vielfältig. Ich benutze ihn hauptsächlich zum Lesen, und zwar sowohl von herkömmlichen Büchern als auch von eBooks auf meinem Kindle, aber ab und zu stelle ich auch mein Tablet darauf um mal einen Film zu schauen. Musiker können ihn sicher auch gut als Notenständer verwenden, während Leute, die aus dem Kochbuch kochen, ihn bestimmt auch praktisch finden. Und wenn man gerade mal nichts liest, könnte man auch ein hübsches Bild darauf präsentieren, oder - zB. bei einem Restaurant - die Speisekarte.Momentan kostet der Buchständer ca. 26 Euro, ein Preis, den ich auch so für mich ausgegeben hätte. Bei Amazon habe ich auch viel billiger ausgeführte Ständer für Preise zwischen 17 und 37 Euro gesehen, die für mich so gar nicht in Frage kämen.Mein Fazit also: Klare Kaufempfehlung!

I really like this book stand. It’s exactly as advertised. sturdy, well made, great value. First one was to hold my laptop ,works perfectly since I have minimal desk space. I like it so much, I bought a second one to hold up my cell phone, and books , it’s perfect to travel with since it fold down easily👍🏼

I really like this bookstand. Back in the day I had a stand that is single angle no adjustable. This is such an improvement on versatility, depend on the time of the day, with natural light, I tilted it down a bit to use natural light during the day, at night I would tilt it up more and use desk lamp. Ergonomic good for long reading and not strain my neck. The lip is wide enough for thick textbook, wish it was a bit wider, but the page clip did help too, don't have to put it straight up, just a bit on the bottom of the page is perfect, not getting in the way of the content. Also function as iPad holder. Build quality is great with solid wood and aluminum frame base. Looks nicer than the clear acrylic version. Excellent buy.

et surtout très qualitatif, c'est sans doute l'un des plus beaux chevalets "moderne" pour livre que j'ai pu voir.Dans la réalité, malgré son esthétisme et sa qualité de réalisation il est surtout très, très encombrant.Je souhaitais y mettre en exposition la dernière encyclopédie Harry Potter reçue pour Noël et vraiment cela faisant son petit effet, mais voilà, même dans le bureau, il prend bien trop de place.D'ailleurs dans une cuisine, à moins d'avoir une ses immenses cuisines américaine avec 15m de comptoir linéaire, c'est pareil, difficile de s'en servir dans le quotidien.Pourtant en plus d'être beau il est aussi fort pratique puisque vous pouvez bloquer les pages ouvertes pour les étudier à loisir (attention toutefois, sur un livre de collection cela risque de laisser des marques sur le long terme) et que le plateau tourne mais que vous pouvez aussi le régler à l'inclinaison choisi.Au final on a ici un objet parfait mais difficile d'utilisation à moins d'avoir l'intérieur qui va avec !
