I’m not sure what kind of “clay” this came with but it’s less workable than a child’s play-doh. My husband and I made a mess just trying to lay it out and get it flat enough to imprint our son’s baby foot. Fast forward to actually pressing his foot into it - not only did the imprint not look like a foot, it was so sticky, it was resistant to separating from his foot altogether. We tried again with plastic wrap over the clay and this made the footprint look like a small pothole on a road. No resemblance of his foot at all. We didn’t even bother to try his hand after it took me 15Min to wipe his foot clean.This product is a complete waste of money and I’m returning to get my money back.

The frame itself is very nice, it has the 2 outer sections for the clay prints and the center for picture and hospital bracelet. I was very excited to get my premies prints memorialized.The clay was a little hard to work with. It stuck terribly to the plastic wrapping it came in. Getting it into the sections of the frame was a little difficult, mainly because rhe roller was useless. The clay sticks to the roller and the roller does not really flatten it well.I was able to get decent imprints of my babies hands and feet and was very excited for it to dry so I could hang the memento. Unfortunately, when it dried, it puffed up a bit, and all definition of the prints were lost. It's very disappointing.

Thought it would be a plaster type base. Seems like a rubbery/elastic base. But did workout fine.

Very disappointing, frame came damaged , had to screw tight in the fram support myself , also doesnt hold the prints , did ours 5 days ago and its poped his hand print out dur to being spongy not solid . Also have to sticky tap photo in there isnt a separate insert for it . Back doesnt stay on tight , every loose . I DONT RECOMMEND .

This clay is horrible for trying to make footprints and handprints with. It was extremely sticky and smelled horrible at first when I got it out. You can't use the roller to roll it out even. Then once you get it so you can put the baby's foot or hand in it, the clay dries, the clay changes and the print flattens out and barely shows. I just ordered a different brand to try and get it done before my baby grows up.Side note: I have a bachelor's degree in art so working with clay and air dry clay comes easy to me. This clay is horrible!

I love this frame!! I love how it's like a foam type material because it doesn't crack like clay can. It is so easy to use and took me less than 15 minutes. This would be perfect for a baby shower gift because it's a keepsake mom/dad can cherish forever. I love this so much!Note: I recommend washing and drying babies hands and feet before using so the material doesn't get dirty as mentioned in another review
