I have a small adult momma cat that will be getting spayed in 2 weeks. The doc. said she needs to be completely done nursing before surgery to reduce the risk of infection. We didn't know how to accomplish this with her 9 week old kids still with her, so we bought her these, for before and after surgery.Since she is a small adult cat we decided on medium. It is perfect and maybe even a little too snug since she struggles to walk a little. We needed the coverage to the tail since she's having surgery and we're trying to stop her nursing so this kind of union suit is necessary.

These came in very quick and fit just right. Better than fighting with the cone and I imagine it’s also more comfortable for my cat.To me, my cat is small (about 4 lbs maybe) but I got a medium so it would be slightly loose. I’d say they maybe run a smidge small so I’m glad I went with my gut and ordered bigger than what i thought i needed. Also, they look just adorable on. What could be cuter than a cat in pajamas?

My female cat is 8 months old and 7lbs, recovering from being spayed. She's a little Houdini and has escaped the cone multiple times, so I ordered this to stop her from licking her wound. The small did not fit her, but the medium seems to fit decently well, though it is a bit too short. The included drawstring is a nice feature to make sure it fits in the shoulders, but the suit itself could stand to be longer in the torso to have a better fit. Still, the cat is able to move well and run and jump around without problems. The price is good and it serves the intended purpose well. My cat pretended to be crippled for the arbitrary required amount of time after being put in the suit, but then figured out how to walk in it and is now playing happily. It totally covers her tummy and the surgical wound and stops her from being able to lick it while also allowing her to go to the bathroom. It's also cute and relatively easy to put on, even when the cat is struggling and upset.I ordered all the sizes, but the medium fit her best. I tried the large on my 14lb 1.5 year-old cat (he is not fat, just big) just to see if it would fit him, but it was too small. If your cat is larger than ~10lbs, you will probably want to order something that caters to larger cats. The fabric is not stretchy, nor should it be to avoid putting pressure on abdominal wounds, but the suits should be offered in a wider range of sizes due to this and they are not.

I just had my female cat spade, and I ordered this set versus her wearing the cone of shame. These suits are amazing and absolutely saved the day. She still had mobility and was able to use the bathroom no problems. She was able to eat and groom herself, but yet she was not able to get to her incision from being spayed. The Velcro stays nicely together in the back of the suit stays in place. They look so cute on her as well and fit wonderfully I would definitely measure prior to ordering just to make sure you get the right size. She still had licking ability, but not where her incision site was, which was the most important. I would highly recommend these suits in the event your cat is needing surgery. They can also double for just cute clothes, but they only work for females not males. She is a vision wearing her little outfits.

Muy buena calidad de tela y de manufactura. El tamaño L le quedo bien a mi gatita de 4.2 kg. La parte de las patas de atrás le queda un poco holgado, pero creo que no es problema. Muy practico el ajuste en cuello.

I’m glad I went up in size like many of the reviews said. These ended up fitting perfectly! They worked out great for post-op as my girls will not wear cones. Would recommend these bodysuits to anyone with pets that are fussy about wearing a cone.

Fue de mucha ayuda para que mi gatita no se lastimara y se recuperara muy bien de la operación porque la tela es transpirable.

We purchased this set of suits for our pups after their spay surgery. We tried dog-specific recovery suits but the necklines were too wide, and the size chart for this product "for cats and dogs" seemed much better suited to my narrow-shouldered pups. For reference, both are ~9 lbs, 8-9" necks, 14-15" long, female Alaskan Klee Kai and they are wearing a size Medium.THE BAD:Let me first clearly state my objections to this product which is the reason I am not rating higher, because this is really the most important information if you're considering buying.- First, the material is VERY thin, and the first suit arrived with a small hole (pictured) that would have clearly spread in the knit material. However, the seller was very quick to ship a replacement (they initially offered me a partial refund) so at least if you receive a pre-damaged product, you can anticipate good customer service. However, it is really very thin material: their fur pokes through everywhere. I would not trust these to hold up to cats' claws or to my pups' teeth if they were not also wearing inflatable collars.- The adjustable neck - a major selling point for us - does not actually hold in place after tightened. To work around this, we just looped the excess string around the plastic adjustment piece and that works well enough for our purposes.- My BIGGEST complaint is the leg placement. While these suits fit my pups pretty darn near perfectly, as you can see from the photos, the leg holes are too far up the sides of the suit whereas they should be positioned more downward to fit the anatomy of a dog (or cat). This wouldn't be an issue but for the tiny sores I noticed today on both of my pups' legs, in perfect lines right where the suits' leg holes rub their skin. If it's a choice between them having a tiny abrasion vs. ripping open their abdominal stitches I'll choose the former, but I felt so upset that this caused my pets discomfort, and I've since decided to give the pups a break from their suits as a result. That being said...THE GOOD:- Besides the leg hole issue, these are WAY better proportioned for most dogs than literally every other "dog surgery recovery suit" I tried. Those other dog suits seem to be designed with exclusively broad-shouldered and barrel-chested bully breeds in mind. These suits fit a longer, narrower body better.- Even though the string doesn't want to STAY adjusted, the neck holes having adjustment is a nice feature that makes it much harder for my pups to wriggle out of these suits.- These are easier at potty time than the other suits we've tried. One of my pups is proportioned such that she can tinkle without me having to remove her suit at all, but the other pup is just a little differently proportioned so I just have to slip one back leg out of the hole for her to go potty.- The shape and the velcro opening makes these really easy to put on and take off.- I appreciate that they are easily washable when my pups have had accidents whilst suited up.Overall, I am glad to have these suits as an option, and it's too late into their recovery to order different suits, but I would not purchase these again after seeing how the leg holes rubbed my pets' legs raw. If your pet's legs are more out to the side, this might work better for you. Just purchase with caution.
