This current sensor module switch only does half the job. Once the relay is energized in response to detecting current above a threshold, it latches and does not release when the current drops down below the threshold. I needed a switch that turns on when current is detected, and then turns off when current is removed.

Working perfectly, tried to use it to detect the AC blower for boost fans on/off. The hole for current detection is too small

I supplied 12Vdc to the power terminals and the LED lit up to indicate that it had power.I ran one 18awg wire to a 9w, 120 Vac light, which draws about .1AThe relay does not operate.I tried adjusting the potentiometer to both extremes and still no difference.

The good:(1) easy to adjust set point,(2) seems to have very little change in set point value over temperatureThe "could be better":(1)There is no indication that the relay is energized or not, just that there is power(2) There is no hysteresis in the device - the relay chatters like crazy. There should be some (ideally adjustable) difference between when the relay is set (ON) and when it is reset (OFF)For my present application it isn't critical as the setpoint is sufficiently below the normal operating current, and there's no way for it to operate near the setpoint, but I have other applications where that isn't true.

I used two to detect the power status of a LCD TV and an A/V Receiver; operated as expected once I used three turns of the power wire thru the sensing coil. NO instructions were available to indicate which way to turn sensitivity control to make fine adjustments, and NO LED to indicate when the relay is energized. This made set-up more difficult / time consuming. Low cost is nice but sometimes more features and information is a better value.

The FIRST one I received worked several times while setting the sensitivity then the relay stuck closed. A power off didn't unstick the relay. I understand getting a bad one but just seems more common these days.I ordered another and requested a refund for this one. The second one works like a champ... so far, so good. I bumped my rating to 4 stars. Now I just need to see how long this thing will last.

Works very well, sensitivity seems stable for my 110v monitoring application. Draws

I use this to monitor when and for how long my sump pump runs. It was simple to hook up and mount. It wasn't necessary for me to set the sensitivity because the pump draws plenty of current and isn't critical for the operation. I wired the normally open contacts to a Raspberry pi and use that to record the times the pump runs and it tells me when, how often and for how long the pump runs. If it runs more than 25 seconds, it gives me an alarm and that time is adjustable in the Pi.
