I used this friction savor with a brand new Teufelberger drenaLINE rope. After one use the friction savor rings had bad wear groves. Thankfully my rope didn't get damaged. NO NOT BUY this friction savor as it will not last repeated use.

I got this for doing some tree pruning/removals on my property. I use a throw line to set it. Totally trust this piece of equipment. Doesn't damage the tree or the rope and the rope slides through easily. Lightweight and strong. Notch makes gear I feel safe using

I was about to throw this right back into the bag and send it back when this image implied that the product is already expired. But the manufacture date is actually in the bottom right of the tag (not with serial number) 🤔Can't wait to use it, feels very sturdy and it is comforting to see the strap is stitched the whole way as it wraps through both rings separately and terminating on the opposite ends.
