This game is a 1 minute simple teach for those who want to play a fun short game. Good with kids roughly 6+ but my 4 year old has a tough time playing on her own. I like to play more complicated games and this is not it, but have no problems playing a couple rounds with the kids as it goes fast and is more fun than monotonous.Bonus, you can play with more people, just deal less cards the games just go faster and you are less likely to be last to 'not-it'.

Fun game for the whole family. The adults have fun with it too! We get more competitive than when the kids are playing!

We bought this as a gift for a friend and all played it together multiple times (with multiple adults and kids ages 5-9). We ALL enjoyed playing it, which I feel is pretty rare for a game. It keeps you on your toes with trying to pay attention to details. The only thing we didn't like was how the game is scored in the end. The scoring just doesn't make a lot of sense- It doesn't take into account who is able to get rid of their cards first, and puts a lot of the scoring on how others play during your turn. It's also likely there will be a lot of ties. You could always come up with your own scoring model for it, but I do think the creators should go back to the drawing board on that part, or give multiple options. I feel like better scoring guidelines could really elevate the game.

This is a very simple game - I was thinking it might be challenging enough to play with older kids.

This has to be one of the best designed game box I’ve ever seen, as compact as you could hope for. All the components fit in one side of the sturdy plastIc case, while the other side is a dice boot (a chute with baffles to “shake” the dice). No wasted space at all.My 3rd-6th grade students love the game, which requires them not only to think quickly, but to plan ahead by organizing their cards for easy analysis. When the dice are rolled, players have to find a card that does *not* match any of the attributes: color, character, or background pattern. The last player to put down a card has to put it back in their hand. Any player who puts down a card that *does* match one or more of the dice not only has to put the card back in their hand, but also has to draw an additional card. If a player only has cards that match, they don’t have to play a card at all. The one to correctly play all their cards wins.During each round, the dealer acts as referee, so even if you have one child who tends to win every game, the other players have one round where that dominating kid doesn’t play. This gives younger children a chance to win against older siblings. The only challenge is that the pattern die can be challenging for some to read. Differentiating between the polka dot face and the checkered face has proven challenging for some people, particularly nearsighted players... and especially this middle-aged reviewer. 😉🙂

Cute game. And I love that it’s not a tiny game in a giant box! It’s small and you can take it anywhere.
