This item is great, my cat has his own little space for his cat tower litter box and food.

This playpen is the perfect size for 3 lb yorkie Diesel! He can now be in the living room with me and not get into anything…The door is a little difficult to open however, I don’t need the door so that doesn’t really matter to me… I just turned the crate around and put the door on a side that I won’t be using… I added mirrored paw print and bone print decals… It looks so cute! I have the eight panel playpen in my office which he is in all day long while I’m working… It provides plenty of room for him to play! I love both of the playpens & Diesel does too! 🐾🐶

Before I bought this product I measured the area I thought it would be good in and I even went between this one and another brand! This came already put together and the ease of setting it up was great!! It took me less than 5 minutes! It isn’t bulky and heavy so moving it is not an issue. It’s a great buy especially on a budget. It’s mainly a thick plastic so rust won’t be an issue! And I like that I can also include it in my living room and it not look like a cheap item!! I would say that this product is great for smaller dogs! I have my fur babies toys, food, water, and his bed in there and he loves his cozy area!

I bought this for my 3.3lb poodle puppy. He goes in there whenever we are leaving him home alone.I hate the thought of keeping him in his small cage and this gives him room to move around, lay down, eat, stand, etc.The weight of it is very lightweight. It is definitely a value for money and I am so happy with this purchase. It was very easy to assemble. The item is of high quality. It has held up great and the performance of it is top notch.I rectthis product for your puppy too!

We purchased it for our new puppy- I wanted something that doesn't look like a cage. It's sturdy, it was easy to put together, and now that our dog is grown, we removed 4 panels and kept a smaller, 4 panel version with the flap door, as his "sanctuary" - we keep his toys in there and he goes there to hide whenever I try to trim his nails. The other panels come in handy if I want to stop him from getting to something - we put them around the Christmas tree for example. Overall a good product.

This item arrived promptly and was not damaged upon delivery inspection. It was easy to assemble and met my immediate needs for containing my 5 lb. Yorkie while I am running errands and at work. I live in a small 1 bedroom apartment so space is limited and this worked well space wise. It is high enough and sturdy enough that she does not jump out or push it over. The pet door allows her to go in and out of the pet yard at her choosing or I can lock the pet door when I need to keep her contained. I will be purchasing the extension piece to give to give her extra space. The extension piece arrived before the stated delivery date and was undamaged upon delivery inspection. It was easy to attach to the existing pet yard with no tools required. This now gives her more space when I need to keep her contained while running errands or at work. I have her bed, potty pad and toy container inside the play yard and she still has room to walk around. She and I are happy with the purchase.

The hinges don’t actually “lock” into place but once you position them they seem to require some force to move them. The hinges sorta “click” into position. Thus, the shape will not collapse if my puppy pushes on it. Much better price than at the local pet store where I would still need to order online and pay $30 shipping. We went to the home improvement store and purchased a piece of vinyl flooring to put underneath it. Safe spot for our puppy while we are preparing or eating dinner. Love the two-way pet passage and that we can lock her in (or out) as needed. We find it a nice alternative to her crate (which we keep near our bedroom).

Let's start with the positives- it's tall so my puppy can't jump out (15wk old Aussie), it's big and the shape can be changed from octagon to rectangle so it fits more spaces and his 'play pen' as we call it offers variety. It does slide on my tile floor but I block 2 sides with heavier items because I've been to lazy to add little rubber stoppers to the feet. It's really helped with potty training, we put 2 large pee pads inside and he still has space to move around. The price was decent but since buying it I have heard other stores offer it cheaper (have not verified this) The plastic is easy to wipe clean and the color is neutral which I prefer. Now the negatives - it is awful to change shape, the plastic hinges are so hard to move! I usually get my daughter to pull one side or hold while I pull. There is no door! I repeat- No door! So while my pups was light I'd pick him up to put him in and out but now I lift the side up and let him run out. Unfortunately when he's bigger I don't know how he'll get out? The other bad thing was already mentioned- it slides around on the floor unless blocked or rubber is added to the bottom. All in all I am very happy though because when we put our pup in his crate he cries and barks but when we switched to this pen he stopped. It has also allowed a confined space to feed and water him so he knows he is not eating unless he is in it.One more thing I should mention - when I have to do a big clean (stepping in poop, pee pad failing, etc.) I am able to lift the pen onto its side and it is such sturdy plastic it will not collapse.

I struggled so hard trying to open and close the panels that one snapped. Definitely not easy to open and close at the joints, in fact almost impossible.

I have a small Bichon puppy. This has saved my life as it gets him out from under my feet and he isn’t stuck in a dark kennel. You can configure the playpen in different ways and we are currently using 6 panels and use the other two in an L shape to block him from running into our family room. It works for a small dog and I would say medium size dog. I’m not sure about larger dogs or dogs that can climb over everything such as Terriers and others. We love it, you do need some space to set it up depending on how many panels you use. We set it up so it blocks the opening into our family room . There is still a gap so we can walk into our family room, but we use the extra two panels in an L-shaped that just slide back-and-forth and nicely block the rest of the family room entrance, but allows us to move in and out of it freely. I bought two super large waterproof pads for the floor and then I put the towels on that so if the dog has an accident or spills its water, my hardwood floors are protected. I wouldn’t set it over the carpet, because if the dog pulled up the pads they could chew a hole in the carpet, so that’s how I deal with it. A person could set it up with only four panels, but that seems a little small to me, we used 6 of the 8 panels, but everybody has to decide what works best for them. The panels themselves go together pretty easily, it just takes a few minutes to figure out how they snaps into place and after that it’s pretty straightforward. It seems to hold up well and has a doggie door that you can lock. I take a tiny bungee cord and sometimes prop the door open and then the dog can go in and out freely when I’m around. Just make sure the bungee cord isn’t on the side the dog can chew it up and swallow it. It all works great for me. FYI the waterproof pads I bought from Amazon are actually designed for a human being. They are one large piece and fit under the whole six panel play pen set up with slight overlap. Good luck!
