About 1 out of every 8 or so caps are bent. It is possible to make some of the less bent caps work, however you always run the risk of them leaking. Value is okay. If you're looking for some cheap caps, these are what you're looking for.

I purchased these for crafting. I make a variety of decorative refrigerator magnets. I paint the top/outside of some of them with whatever background colors I like (some I leave white). I then paint flowers, miniature scenes, add decoupage images or use small transfer images on them. I put small, round, strong-hold magnets on the under side. These are pretty popular sellers.The quality of these caps are very consistent. I like that they come with a white, high shine paint on them. They are functional for my use and a decent value for the money.

Although these are marketed towards home brewers, these bottle caps are also the right size to recap the standard North American lava lamps (at least the 14.5" and 17" sizes). Lava lamp collectors need to do this when they have to change or filter the fluid when it gets cloudy, or replace the wax after years of use when it might wear out.So, lava lamp owners wading through the home brew items wondering if this is the right thing you need: yes, this size is what you need.
