I do a lot of wood restoration and these particulate filters catch most of the particulates before they get to the respirator cartridge. Because of the amount of wood and paint dust I generate these filters are changed at least daily and extend the life of the cartridges.

This may seem silly. I use this product with a full face resperater so that I can mow, weedeat,..... with out this I would never be able to do any of it . It a good price and not a lot of wast .
