I've been experimenting with puck prep speed and I really like using these in the morning to avoid weighing beans. I would fill up all 6 on a Sunday, use one a day in the morning, and repeat the process. While time isn't actually saved, it is distributed on a non work day for me which saves me time on the working days. All of the vessels weighted the same which makes it possible to fill these up consistently on a scale. While that workflow was fine for some time, I found it to be much faster to use my portafilter as a scoop and weigh the beans using a milk pitcher - then dump the beans into the vessels.The plexiglass won't shatter which I like and the tinted color also helps keep sunlight away. The air valves are nice and keep the beans fresh enough as long as they are used within several days. I find that the freshness eventually drops the longer they sit. The major drawback is the price - which feels like a lot for something that is plastic. The tubes are durable though and are convenient so if you're not on a budget, these are great to get.

I think the thing I like the most about this storage set is the sleek, minimalist design. No in your face branding or colors. Just a very simple design and look with an explicit purpose that it does well. The plastic itself is thick and molded well. There is some slight jiggling in the tray if moved around but that would my only slight complaint. Otherwise, these hold the precise measurement I need and looks great on the counter. It is a bit of an investment, but the high quality and excellent functionality for the dedicated enthusiast make this a good value.

When I had the opportunity to select the Normcore coffee bean storage cellars I honestly thought I wouldn't use them beyond writing a review telling you to save your money.That's not what I'm going to do. I use them every day. At the beginning of the week I fill each one with my desired 22g of beans for my double shot espresso. This makes my afternoon cappuccino just a little quicker and easier to prepare. It doesn't save a ton of time but enough that the process feels like less of a chore. On the days I'm making more than one cappuccino for friends the time between shot prep feels dramatically significant.These storage cellars are well made and keep your beans fresh and I can't find anything wrong with them or that I would like to see done differently. While they are smoke grey in color I don't believe they protect against UV light but since they are really used for short term storage and have a one way vent to release gas buildup the beans stay adequately fresh. The base that holds them is substantial in heft and holds the cellars neatly on your counter ready for use.Overall I think they are a little pricey for what they are but you need them, or at least I do.

These single dose containers are excellent. The one way valve on the lid is a great idea. The base holder is attractive and works well. They're sized perfectly to hold any dose that you would use for espresso. The whole setup looks really nice. The only downside I could find is that the plastic that it is made of scratches fairly easily. But that is a very minor downside.

I am unsure if the valve works but I do like the tinted color. I also like that these containers are compact and easy to store. Customer service is also great.

I absolutely love the aesthetic of these bean cellars. They elevate the look of your coffee bar/set up. They hold the perfect amount of coffee beans (i imagine they can hold up to 22g) and speed up the process of brewing espresso based coffees. I just got them, so i am unsure about bean freshness. I doubt they will keep beans fresh for extended periods of time, so I’ve only filled up enough to get me through the work days for the week. I also got them on sale so in terms of value for money, definitely worth it. The stand is weighted and the quality is pretty awesome for it being a plastic based container.
