Update: the company saw the review, issued us a full refund AND shipped us a newer one that had the locking mechanism updated with their new manufacturer. Much stronger and safer!We loved that this stool folded and would be compact for our smaller space. However, the biggest issue we have with it is that the lock mechanism for the bar behind him comes undone with a little bit of toddler horseplay making it go from safe to “about to wreck himself” in a matter of seconds.If your kid isn’t much of a monkey this is probably fine but if you’ve got an active one it’s not safe.

This thing has been nothing but a hassle since we got it. The box came pretty beat up, but the product itself didn't seem disturbed. It was assembled and has been used. It's cheap. The locks for the top don't stay in place so if your kiddo leans on it, it will swing around out of place (not safe). The bottom part they stand on isn't level either. I should have returned it before as it will likely go in the trash soon. Avoid and get something nicer.

Very sturdy and great quality! Folds up small for storage. My 19month old son loves this so much. One very small dislike so that the folding function scratches the sides but that is not a deal breaker for me.

This was a gift for my grandchild. It was immediately a big success. They can be at the counter seeing what is going on when cooking or other things are going on.. I know it’s going to get used for many years.It’s well-made, stable, high quality , and folds and stores easily.

The kitchen tower is pretty nice when my daughter is using it, however, the base is very loose and flimsy after it’s folded up. It keeps sliding open and if it’s placed in the wrong direction, it will actually tipped over.

I bought this stool for my 22 month old grandson who now wants to 'help' in the kitchen. It is attractive and practical. I especially like the two 'wings' which project from the bottom of the back legs. These add to the balance and overall safety of the stool. I also appreciate it can be folded for storage inbetween use. It is sturdy and durable. My grandson has no trouble climbing up and down on it. The back bar acts as a reminder to the toddler to be spatially aware. EAsy to assemble. The basic design would work well in any room/decor.

We bought this for our daughter’s first birthday and it has been great. It was partially assembled when it arrived so it was easy to finish assembling. Folds up small for storage, this was important to us. It is sturdy and our daughter absolutely loves to sit at the counter and watch everything that is happening, also saves me holding her! She is still pretty young for it and a little wild so we used an old cargo luggage net to hold her in and give us a little more peace of mind. We love it and I would recommend this to anyone!

Took me about 20min to put together, if that. Our 2 year old loves it, works great for letting her help in the kitchen.And the fact that it folds up is probably the biggest plus. Most of the other options on the market don’t fold up. Makes it super easy to pull out and put back.We’ve been using it for a few months and haven’t had any issues. Have had to tight up a couple of the bolts just recently, but that’s normal for something like this.Very light weight, but still sturdy. Our toddler can push it around herself, which she loves. And it’s much safer than a chair

I had some concerns within the first day of using that the locking mechanism was very unreliable. I reached out to the company, they were very quick to respond and wonderful to work with! I was able to tighten the top screws where the legs meet the top square portion and I feel much reassured in the safety of the product for my toddler! So be sure to tighten the top screws if you’re having any issues!! I have suggested to the company to include two wrenches to make that easier, hopefully that happens!

My toddler loves this! He loves to be able to see reach the counter and help out. Adjustable heights will help as he grows. Easy to move around and folds I. Half for storage.
