This is a great small wok. It is not cast iron (don't understand why it is being advertised as iron), but is carbon steel, and it is preseasoned in the factory so not a lot has to be done to it. It's a lot lighter than cast iron, which I appreciate, and so far it has been easy to use and easy to clean. I do wipe it with a bit of oil after I wash it and before putting it away. I do wish the instructions came in English (only in Chinese!), but after much internet research, I realized this is one of the ones that come preseasoned; you don't really need to go through all the seasoning steps before using it. For the price it has been very useful.

I like thr size, versatility, it's light weight. I have seasoned this little guy multiple times but it still sticks, so I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Perfect for smaller portions and love that it has a lid. I gave it 4 stars because of the instructions on seasoning.

BUYER BEWARE THIS IS NOT A NON STICK PRODUCT! I HAD TO USE STEEL WOOL TO SCRUB THE PAN TO REMOVE THE FOOD THAT COULD NOT BE REMOVED WITH A SCRUB BRUSH. I WISH I HAD BOUGHT A CARBON STEEL PAN INSTEAD OF THIS CAST IRON PAN. BUT I DO LIKE THE SIZE AND THAT IT CAME WITH A LID.

It's a great little wok. The surface is nitrided carbon steel; so it's rust resistant. I seasoned it twice, both times with lard, once in the oven to get every surface, outside and inside, and once on the stove burner to really burn the inside and temper the metal. If you treat it right, it'll be very nonstick, but don't expect Teflon. That's not how bare carbon steel works. The metal is strong, and it comes with a matching lid and a sturdy wooden handle. Good deal!

great size, shape, and best of all, weight. it's not cast iron but carbon steel, i think. it has a nice depth and slope. it's a sturdy little thing and easy to handle, not cast iron heavy. happy with purchase, money well spent

This is a really nice sm wok for one of two person. Love the size. But it's not cast iron. I seasoned it and now it's totally none stick. For those people who doesn't know how to season woks look up youtube. It takes 30-40 min to do but it's well worth the process. Don't just stick it in the oven like regular cast iron pans seasoning. One of my picture show the wok and unseasoned cover. Big difference. Im Happy with this wok. I have a big real cast iron wok. You cant use that unless you have super human airm strength. NO joke. Final picture is seasoned wok and lid. If you don't season it food will stick. also after seasoning it and used try not to use soap to clean it. allways heat it after cleaning and put on a coat of oil. this should last me years to come. my fav pan now. i cook everything in it.

Ce wok en carbone n’attache pas si on le prépare correctement. Sa taille moyenne est très suffisante pour trois voire quatre personnes car sa hauteur est importante. La poignée en bois est belle et pratique. Le laver à la main d’un simple coup d’éponge.

I have a lot of diffge carbon steelerant pots and pans including 6 antique cast iron and a large carbon steel pan. This is pergect for small meals and for one or two people. It is so smooth and I got a good seasoning on it right away. this is a winner at a really good price.

Love the size and had high hopes but after one use the finish was terrible. Feels like it's peeling and don't trust to cook in. We are sending back. We prepped according to the product site.
