I have small dog, a toy breed, and bought this to stop him from pulling. Although the item is listed as adjustable, and I purchased the size according to the guide and my dog’s measurements, I found that the straps would not stay as adjusted. It appeared snug, but as soon as my dog walked, the straps immediately loosened back to the largest size. It was also somewhat challenging to put on, multiple straps that look alike, a bit of a puzzle. This product seems like it may work fine for dogs that fit perfectly in the harness straps, but for my situation, I ultimately could not use the bought item.

I was having a hard time finding a harness that comfortably fit my beagle. He's larger than a typical beagle, and deep chested. Most of the harnesses that would fit his chest had too big of a neck opening because they are made for larger dogs. I was really happy with this harness though. It's extremely adjustable, you can even adjust how far forward/back the chest piece goes on their back/belly, whereas with other harnesses the piece that connects the neck and chest piece isnt adjustable. If you have an oddly shaped dog and you've been struggling to find a good fitting harness, I would recommend this one!

I've got a sensitive dog with skin issues who can sometimes be a puller (squirrel?!) - she doesn't do well with most harnesses (chafing), but needs to wear one in certain scenarios where the collar just won't cut it.This harness is sturdy and HIGHLY adjustable, which is perfect! So far no chaffing, but I've also left it looser in certain spots to help avoid rubbing with her activity style. The lack of padding hasn't been an issue at all.As others have pointed out, the handle in back is tiny. If I need to pull my dog out of a situation I tend to use the back strap instead. But that little handle was a lifesaver for a bunny once - my pup spotted the rabbit in the bush and darted, bumping into the bench beside the bush which opened the leash clasp from the D-ring! Somehow it wound up catching again on the webbing handle, and I wound up leaving it connected to both the D-Ring amd the handle for the remainder of our trek since it felt sturdier to me. Always happy to have a backup connector!!

This is my new fav harness. It allows for range of motion and rides far enough back on my dog that the harness is not rubbing in her armpits. I love the double attach feature - it does not tighten across the chest. You do need a double ended leash if you're going to clip to front and back at the same time. I rarely double clip - just when I get frustrated with loose leash walking training - and this harness works perfectly well for clipping on the back.

Constantly twists around my dogs body and never stays put. Ended up giving it away cause it’s not usable.

Great quality! My dog doesn’t mind this one as it doesn’t go over her head.

Love the structure of this harness! However, I wish it had padding or that the adjustment points were made different. It seems to irritate or rub on our dogs skin (bulldog mix) and so this has now become a back up harness. Otherwise it’s so nice! It is sturdy too

My English Cocker Spaniel puppy weighs 21 pounds, and size S fits him well (with room to spare). Excellent quality: we've been using it for 4 months, he swims in the sea, and the puppy has even chewed on the harness, but it still looks like new. I wash it in the machine. Definitely ordering again.

Four month old mutt (beagle lab mix) puppy easily chewed through the straps within the first month. We also weren't impressed with the comfort or thickness of the straps. Guess we need to step up to the $50 tier of harnesses to get better quality. I'd avoid this one

I like that each strap is adjustable so you can really customize the fit, it also has a buckle on neck strap so is good for head shy dogs. It was a great Y shape and didn’t come too high up on her neck. Unfortunately though I just couldn’t get it to stay in place and the chest strap kept shifting to one side under her armpit, causing friction.

Our field Golden has lots of energy and we thought this harness would help. He still pulls

I have used every harness under the sun for my 120 pound dog. She does not pull but she has some selective fear reactivity and is extremely sensitive to equipment.Plusses:-multiple leash attachment points-multiple adjustment areas-I just started using it but the D-rings seem nice and sturdy-less aversive and more neutral design then harnesses that go across the chest which is helpful for fearful dogs and likely better orthopedically-Price is right. My dog goes through harnesses like they are water. I love the balance harness which this is clearly copying but its very expensive and the last one I had frayed badlyMinuses:-Does not prevent the opposition reflex as much as some other front clip harnesses which go across the chest so might not prevent active pulling as much as some competitors-A little complicated-I wish there was an option to forego the neck clip. My dog does not mind stuff going over her head and it just adds another complication as well as potential place for the harness to break (side note, I think the Balance Harness also only offers their harness with the neck clip now as well)-Handle is a nice addition but it's sized appropriately for the hand of a small child-I would be willing to pay a little extra for reflective stitching
