Works well. Had to run extra lines to my starting battery at the end of the boat. Be aware that NOCO recommends leaving the fuse at the charger when splicing line in. I added a second fuse at the battery to protect it. No issues so far with the charger. Also installed a NOCO waterproof plug that made it easy to plug the charger in, a must for pontoon owners.

Last year we purchased Li batteries for my trolling motor. Didn't know that you need a Li charger too. I had a portable one but it needed to be switched to charge both batteries. This eliminated all the swapping hooking up and unhook each time I wanted to go fishing. It also charges my starting lead acid battery too all with only one plug. Works great! It also maintains all three batteries automatically and remembers the last setting, so I don't have to get into the boat each time I charge. Great value for the price. Install depends on your boat and how easy or hard it is to run wires. I did have to lengthen the wires to the starting battery as it is in the very back of the boat. The charger also tells you if you switched the wire polarity. I did have to install a switch between the two Li batteries. As this doesn't charge a 24V system but will charge each battery separately. Just need to remember to switch it back to 24V when using the trolling motor and then back to 2x 12V when charging.

I waited two seasons of charging before this review. I have multiple battery types and different requirements for charging and storing batteries charged and ready for use. This unit is literally plug and play, safe and incredibility reliable for keeping the batteries not only charged but conditioned while in storage over the winter. Highly recommend.

I recently converted my boat to a 24-volt system, which of course, required adding a third battery. I've had good luck with my two-bank Noco charger that came stock in the boat for the past three years, so decided to move up to the three bank system.One great thing about the charger is that it fit the same footprint as my two-bank, so it bolted right in to where the old one was fit from the factory, no drilling of new holes required. I also like the fact that if I decide to upgrade to lithium at some point, I won't have to upgrade the charger again. The display is very easy to read and much clearer than the two bank that it replaced. At a glance, I can tell exactly where all of my batteries stand. I've only had it a couple of months, but it's performed very well in that time, and I expect it will continue to do so.

I did not like that. There was no notifications in the paperwork, as to the fact that you cannot extend the linkage wiring between the box unit and the battery. And trying to do this unit would not handshake with the battery, I was only talking about an 8 foot extension with number 14 gauge wire. However, after shortening it back to the norm, the unit charge the battery fine. This is an important factor because Location of the hard box is important to get to in order to make selections on the screen.

Installed on boat. Had to cut and splice an extension into one cord to reach all batteries. I was expecting a connect simular to the 2x4 charger. The connectors on this one are hard wired.

Very easy to install and get going. Took only a few minutes.Only thing I would mention, and this is from my own personal experience in the first few days, is that I have one onboard battery exclusively running my refrigerator. It draws about 4.5-5.5 Amps.The charger maintains the battery, but I have gotten a fault twice now where the charger thinks the battery is no good because it is not keeping charge (especially when the fridge is drawing more than the charger is putting in). So it faults and shuts down that line for charging and my battery discharges. When I shut the fridge off and reset the charger, it will charge that battery back up to full and no issues.So I might need to return this unit for the 10x3 unit to ensure adequate charge is available to maintain the battery with the fridge going.But awesome product and easy to install and use. I would recommend these to everyone.

Easy to install and very clear directions. I have charged the 36v trolling motor battery bank a few times and its been quick and easy..cleary indicates battery level and doesnt get to hot. Definetly would recommend to a friend or buy again.Time will tell about durability but so far so good.

I purchased this 3 bank battery charger as a budget alternative for my bass boat. I have 3 12 volt batteries on board and 2 of the batteries are wired into a 24 volt trolling motor.First I’ll go over the install. If you know how to use a screwdriver and a wrench. You can install this product in your RV camper or boat. Everything is clear and simple to understand.Set up was a breeze after I got it installed. I simply selected my charging mode for my battery type. Confirmed it was on the proper voltage. And powered each bank up and away it went. It’s nice because even after you unplug it. It remembers your settings and defaults back to those settings for each bank.My first trip out with the new charger. We noticed an immediate improvement in battery life. We got an extra hour or so on our batteries on the first charge. We don’t run them dead. But I have a battery meter and I keep track of my usage and fishing times. It seems to have only gotten better as I have allowed the charger to maintain my batteries also. The batteries are on their second season and they’re functioning as if they were brand new.Durability seams very good. It gets tossed around a little in my boat and we have had zero issues with it. I haven’t yet tested out the waterproofing of the unit, thankfully. Because it is installed inside the dry area in my bass boat.Only reason I gave waterproofing a 3 star is because I cannot confirm or deny its quality or lack thereof.For a budget smart charger. These things are great. Buy with confidence!
