This works well for dead batteries and jump starting other vehicles as well as charging your phone or other media devices. It also has a light to work on your vehicles

I am extremely impressed with the NOCO Boost X GBX155 Jump Starter! It’s compact yet powerful, and it started my car with ease even after the battery was completely dead. The safety features give me peace of mind, and the design is durable but still portable enough to keep in my trunk. Definitely a must-have for anyone looking to avoid being stranded with a dead battery!

The first time i bought this it was bad out of the box, wouldn't take a charge to use. Returned it. New one charged up and worked great about twice. If the vehicle you're jumping has too low of battery, it will not activate/jump the vehicle. I used a set of jumper cables and a known good battery to give the truck (2005 F250 6.0L diesel) some voltage for the Noco unit to work. It started doing it's thing and tried starting the truck a few times. After about 2 minutes of on and off starting attempts it gave me a temperature light and stopped working altogether. It's 40° out. Used up 2 bars of Noco battery on one truck. This is the second time I've had to use it, and the second time I've had to drag jumper cables and a spare battery out to jump a vehicle, which is the exact reason i bought this junk unit. Spent almost $400 on this thing thinking all the reviews were honest and legitimate. Maybe i got 2 bad units in a row. Been a mechanic for 10+ years, having a stone dead truck in the winter is common. This thing is no use. The light on it is really nice though, i guess that's worth 1 star. The cables are very short. It couldn't jump start a 1993 F150 5.0L gas without help. Well past the return time on this, so now I'm stuck with it. Total waste of money if you live in cold climates (Montana) or if you ever have a fully dead truck. But, if you need a bright LED light, this is a great option for $400. Very convenient as a door stop that could light up a dark room.

This particular model sits on the threshold of commercial and home use. If you are only jumping the occasional four or six-cylinder passenger vehicle, it is probably excessive for your needs. If you have a need to potentially jump multiple vehicles in a day or vehicles with larger engines, or a combination therof, the GBX155 will suit you well. Also, it is easily stored in the optional storage case, which I recommend, and is both smaller and lighter than other competitors with similar capabilities.Will start anything from a medium-duty truck and below with little to no issue in sub-zero conditions. It just might need a top off charge right after if you are jumping something more demanding, such as a mid-size to larger diesel engine or large gas engine in colder weather, which isn't difficult and can be done via USB-C fast charge in your vehicle between calls with the appropriate charger.I use this model for roadside assistance duty and it has no problem keeping up with jumping battery after battery in below freezing conditions so long as you monitor the battery level after each use and top off accordingly (much below a green charge level in colder weather and it will start to struggle with bigger engines if the battery is completely dead).Pro Tip: do not leave this, or any other NOCO chargers in your vehicle during extreme (hot or cold) temperatures. If they are too hot or cold, they will not provide power to your vehicle battery.

When I received this Jump Starter, it only had two red lines on the power indicator. I realize that items containing a battery cannot be shipped with a full charge, which is just fine by me. As soon as I hooked the jumper cables up and turned my NOCO Boost X GBX75 on, the alarm on my Chevy Suburban began blaring, the lights were flashing, the lights inside were on, the instrument panel lit up so beautifully and the door was chiming. I got in, inserted the key and my baby started right up, as if there was nothing ever wrong with her! Now, before I purchased the GBX75, I went out to my Suburban to run a few errands. That's when I found that my battery was DEAD!!! By the time I figured out which Jump Starter to purchase, three more days had passed. When I say the battery was dead, it went from RRRRR, RRRRR, RRRRR to CLICK, CLICK, CLICK, CLICK to NOTHING AT ALL!! I'm a 51 year old woman who knows a few things about cars, although I'm not claiming I can fix them!! I have the Chevy Suburban in addition to a Honda Pilot. I wanted something that would be able to start a vehicle with a larger engine that mine My mindset has always been: it's always better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it!!! I LOVE this little Jump Starter. I'm gonna get one for all three of my daughters because you never know when your battery is gonna leave you stranded! Don't forget the case and wall charger. Despite what the Manufacturer and other folks that don't even have one of these are stating, the GBX75 WILL FIT in the NOCO GBC014 Boost HD EVA Protection Case along with the cords, cables, instruction manual and the Nekteck 60W USB C Charger [GaN Tech], PD 3.0 Fast Charger[USB-IF & ETL Certified] wall charger PERFECTLY!! You'll have everything you need, right where/when you need it!The only CON I have to share is that the GBX75 should've come WITH the wall charger. IT DOES NOT!! It comes with the charger to plug into the cigarette lighter adapter. Now how can you charge it in your vehicle, if your vehicle is dead as a doornail??In any case, I hope this helps. Happy shopping!
