HOW TO USE the NobleEgg Egg Timer Pro
~
1. Place the NobleEgg Timer Pro With the Eggs
Place the NobleEgg Timer Pro in the pot or saucepan with the eggs at the very beginning. The eggs can be straight out of the refrigerator.
Works with one or many eggs.
2. The NobleEgg Timer Gradually Indicates the Doneness of the Eggs
Watch the bright red color changing to white, passing through doneness levels as the water starts to boil. Our detailed video shows the entire process.
3. Remove the Eggs at the Desired Doneness Level
When the eggs reach the desired doneness, take out the egg timer and let it cool at room temperature. For soft boiled eggs and medium boiled eggs, cool down the eggs in cold water to prevent further passive cooking. For hard boiled eggs, leave the eggs to cool at room temperature. Very useful. I boil eggs fairly often, but I can't hear the water start to churn from my living room, so I often miss setting the timer. This gives me a backup that keeps me from having to guess when to take them off. So far I've found it to be pretty accurate, but you might need tongs to lift the timer up to the surface since the boiling water makes it hard to read.

I got this thing thinking that was going to regret the purchase but this is a lifesaver LOL it's made out of really durable plastic or polymer whatever LOL the size is perfect to be in the bottom of the pan with a bunch of eggs. You can easily read what it's doing. Definitely worth the money and it functions exactly as stated.

Easy to read and the eggs came out perfect! Normally I boil my eggs at the highest temperature but with the instructions I started at a medium high which made it easier to read the timer since there were not many bubbles getting in the way. This made boiling the eggs take a little longer but the eggs came out just how I like them so I am happy with the trade.

I love soft boiled eggs with butter. For the life of me, I have never been able to get the consistency correct. Even after trying different suggestions from multiple websites. As someone with inattentive type ADHD, I struggle to watch a timer without wandering out of the kitchen and forgetting my eggs.For whatever reason, this fun (and cute) little egg timer works for me. I put my eggs on the stove and then do a small kitchen chore while waiting for the water to boil. I love to watch the color change on this cute, little plastic chick. That small sense of fun keeps me engaged until it's time to remove the eggs.This timer is accurate. I have tried removing the eggs before and after the timer has reach my desired level of doneness. Each time that I ignore the timer, I get either well-done or runny eggs. However, if I follow the timer exactly, I get perfectly done soft boiled eggs. I love this simple little kitchen gadget!

This worked great until I went to make eggs today. Put it in like I always do, made my eggs, took the timer out and it was cracked. Nothing changed in how I made the eggs, so I have no idea why it cracked.

This is an updated review after I exchanged the egg for a different one. The first one I had did not accurately work but customer service was amazing and helped me exchange it for a different one- and it works perfectly. I had seen so many positive reviews on this egg and thought I had to have it. I have a gas stove and the cooking time on hard boiled eggs to be the way we all like to eat them seems to vary depending on the day, weather, whatever. It was a pain to do the guess and check method all the time, and a waste of some eggs (which the dogs loved, haha). Using the egg timer took a lot of the guess work out. We like our eggs very hard boiled so I just leave them in a couple minutes past the time the egg turns all the way colored and they are perfect every time. I also found that if I do them in smaller batches (6-8) the timer is much more accurate! I'm so happy I gave it a second try because it is super helpful, not to mention cute! I would recommend this timer to anyone who cooks hard boiled eggs, it takes the guess work out of cooking so you get perfect eggs every time no matter what style of hard boiled eggs you prefer. The customer service is wonderful, emails were always responded to within 12-24 hours and they are easy to understand. They truly want to make sure you have a positive experience.
