I was upset at first because I opened the box and the first thing I saw was an installation set with screws. I did not order anything that had to be drilled so I literally threw the box to the side and went to bed. The next day, I emailed the seller that I had received screws when I ordered a magnetic set. They replied that there should have been both screws and magnets but they would ship me a magnetic installation kit. I worked all weekend and when I finally went back to the box and took everything out, there was indeed another box with magnets. Excellent customer service! They look good and the magnets are strong but I did have to force one end in with a hammer as the fit was off but you can't even tell. For reference my window is 21.75 x 68 and I ordered 22.5 x 72. Size 23.5 or 24 would have looked better as I can partly see the window frame but I didn't want my hands to touch the blinds while handling the door as I am always letting a dog in and out. I will however say if you can get away with a 25 inch width the cheaper set on Amazon for around $35 is slightly better quality. It did not have screws lol...hence my confusion. That is what is on my front door which is a wider door. I think the quality is slightly better, it's much cheaper, and the magnets are even stronger. I found it easier to install and the ends are already in place so no forcing them in. However, you can slightly see the silver metal on the top magnets. I placed a review on that one as well.

I used the magnetic blinds for metal door, at first I was a little skeptical of the weight of the blinds and the magnetic not being strong enough to hold it up but the magnet is very strong! I am very impressed! It works great! Installation was easy!

Who knew magnets could be the secret sauce to window privacy?First off, the installation was as easy as sticking a magnet on a fridge. No drills, no screws, no stress. Just slap those bad boys on, and boom—instant blinds! It’s like magic, but with science, and it’s left me wondering why I didn’t do this sooner.These blinds are not just functional; they’re like the strong, silent type. They stay in place, don’t swing around, and darken the room just right for those mid-day naps (you know, the ones you swear you won’t take but always do). Plus, adjusting them is a breeze—no cords to tangle, just pure, unadulterated tilt-and-lift action.But let’s get real—these aren’t blackout blinds. If you’re hoping to turn your room into a cave of darkness, these might not be the way to go. Think of them more like mood lighting: they dim the scene enough to keep the sun from roasting you alive but still let in enough light to keep you from tripping over your furniture.The only downside? Now I keep trying to stick other things to my door, forgetting that not everything is magnetized. (Spoiler: coffee mugs don’t stay put.)

**I rated this 5 stars, but I took a half a star off for the bottom brackets.**Let me just say that I love this magnetic mini blind! It's very well made and attractive.It works amazingly well and the magnets are super strong. The blinds stay put and it takes a little bit of effort to get them off the door. They haven't fallen off once.Our side porch door is steel and has a decorative window that faces a park. The window is not super clear, but clear enough that I wanted something to cover it as needed.I originally had super strong magnetic clips that I used to hang a decorative towel but it was a very temporary, very lame look.I'm not handy at all so drilling into the door was never going to happen.I turned to Amazon and found that magnetic blinds are actually a thing, so I measured the window and ordered the blinds.I'm sure happy I did!They came quickly and were very easy to put up. The directions were clear and least to follow.Here's where I deducted half a star.I elected to use the bottom magnetic brackets. They are designed to clip? Or slip onto the frame and for the life of me, I couldn't get them onto the bottom frame bar thingie. I even tried heating the plastic brackets up but no luck. So, I decided to get out my stash of Command Strips and a ended up turning the brackets upside down and using the command strips to affix the brackets to the frame. It looks a little odd because they are longer then the width of the frame, but...it worked and enabled me to affix the bottom frame to the door do the binds don't swing around.The other thing was that part of the metal on the blinds was rusty, but it didn't prevent the blinds from functioning correctly or hinder their performance.Overall, I'm super happy with these blinds.

I was quite happy with these at first, however they haven’t even lasted a year. The blinds have got super brittle over time and each slat is starting to snap.
