Initially, I had a problem running the configuration app from my Pixel 6a, but tech support was quick to fix it. I purchased this for it's Nixie tube appearance. The one pictured in the Amazon description is good, but there is a better one--number 37. There are 40 available clock faces in all with one allowed for you own custom images. This is a solid purchase. I'm very happy with it.

I bought this for the Nixie tube clock only. It was relatively easy to get going. The clock itself is built well and works great. The app leaves alot to be desired but don’t be put off by the app. You will not regret this purchase!

This is a really nice "imitation Nixie tube" clock but has a lot more customization and can display up to 10 different clock faces.Pros:Solid build qualityComes with power adapterNice bright display digits10 available clock faces (1 customizable, see cons below)Nixie Tube clock face looks niceAdditional RGB LEDs on the rear that can be slightly customizedHas a battery backup for the time and settings if you unplug itCons:Mobile app connectivity via Wi-Fi is a bit flaky. As a Steins;Gate fan, this looks pretty close to a real nixie tube clock (until I can afford a real one). The app is pretty simple, just wish the color picker made more sense... Sometimes I pick an orange and it makes the lights turn red instead... It was very hard to find where orange actually was. It came packed really securely but my only complaint it that one of my tubes has a big scratch. Overall, it's nice though, feels sturdy and well made.

Nice clock but the app does not work so I cannot set the time. App crashes on Android phone and I spent 3 hours trying to get it to work. No response from seller, I will be returning it.

The item arrived promptly and was packed securely to avoid any damage during transit. Assembly was straightforward, though I did find the clock setup a bit confusing at first; however, it was resolved after a little troubleshooting.One notable feature is that the tubes are made of glass rather than plastic, which adds a nice touch of quality. The base is solid, and I appreciate that it has a battery backup to maintain memory in case of a power outage.I highly recommend this product; I would definitely purchase it again as a gift. I've received nothing but positive feedback from everyone who has seen it so far!

The clock looks good. However the plastic domes had small scratches on them. Hard to tell unless you are close. The app doesn’t work at all. The motion gestures work from time to time.

I have had this clock now for almost 1 year.. works fine however the setting/reseting of the time using hand gestures is very complicated and has now stopped working all together.The design seems over engineered.. adding some basic buttons to set/reset the time would make significantly more sense and make the item much more user friendly.In a nutshell this is over engineered and the gesture sensors are no longer working so basic 1hr day time savings switches are not possible.This is now going in the garbage.. think twice before buying.

Set up takes less than 2 minutes, just plug each LED piece in then magnetic snap the glass tubes over each. Once plugged in you can easily find its WiFi (Novel Life Tube) download the app also called “Novel Life Tube” and begin customizing your clock with the 40 different faces or create your own for each of the six faces. I’m incredibly impressed and I will be buying more for different rooms in my house.

This is well made, the base is made out of metal and some weight to it. The tubes going over the LCD displays are glass. The glass tubes won't fall off, they are held in with magnets. The power connector is USB-C and it includes a braided USB-C cable with a right angle connector to keep it tucked in nicely. I love that the connector on this clock is in the back, other models the connector is on the side.Besides just being a Nixie simulation the clock app has 40 different styles to select from. I included a few sample photos. The clock has a watch battery to keep the time in case of a power failure. I am disappointed that the clock does not actually connect to your Wifi network to sync with a NTP server. It connects to your mobile device via an access point. So it can only sync the time when connected to your smart-phone or tablet.The clock can support 12/24 hour format but via your phone settings. It uses whatever your phone is set to. It's unlikely this clock will update for daylight savings time since it has no zone setup. I will assume you have to connect it to the app now then to get the correct time setup.The app is a bit rough. It has a bug which causes it to disconnect often. Luckily there is an easy work-around. Make sure in your network connections to set auto-connect. If it still does not work correctly pick all your other network connections and forget them. That will allow the app to connect so you can setup the various options.It comes in a nice box which is very presentable as a gift item.
