My hamster did not use the old sand box. He enjoys this one. The top keeps things tidy. Great practical shape to fit nicely in the cage.

Day 1 our hamster trained himself to poo in the sand bath. Then a few days later we thought we'd put some pee bedding in and he stopped using the sand bath altogether (we sifted through it and flattened the sand so we could see if there was changes to it in the morning). Every night I find him perched on top of it though. So we tried fully changing out the sand and he went back in it. He is a long hair Syrian and fits great in there and used to love digging around in it. Next time I'll put less sand in though so he can fit even better. High quality product, definitely recommend it.

My little grabby hands (aka Syrian Hamster) LOVES this corner sand/litter box. It is easy for him to get in and out of without steps as he is fully grown, however I do have a harder "just in case". It can hold a LOT of sand which is perfect as he loves to really move around and kick and roll in it sometimes while the sand stays inside where it belongs. With a mesh scoop I can easily remove clumps as he also uses it as a litter box, and it is very efficient to clean out. Well made, exactly as described triangle shaped acrylic box with a wooden lid, with a hole big enough for my Syrian hamster to comfortably go in or out of the 'box'. No sharp edges on the acrylic or wood, a good value for the money.

It’s the perfect size for 2 gerbils. They fit in there with room to spare. The top helps keep stuff out, which cuts down on time between cleanings

As a hamster owner, I believe this sand bath is an absolute must. The sizing on it is perfect whether you have a dwarf or Syrian! There is so much space for them to roll around and just generally enjoy being in the sand (which is necessary for any species!).Due to its size, you can fill it with enough sand for your hammy to dig, roll, play, and use as a toilet if that’s their thing! The coverage from the lid is perfect for little ones that like a bit of privacy, but it also adds some extra platforms to their cage. Functional yet stylish!The quality of it is gold standard but that’s to be expected from niteangel. It’s made of a really thick plastic that can withstand the weight of all the sand while the lid is made of sealed, hamster safe wood. You also get a wooden bowl with it which is a nice addition, however I like to move it elsewhere so that my hamsters have another point of entry through the top.Because of the quality materials, it’s extremely easy to wash when doing a full clean. You don’t have to worry about any staining or discoloration due to wee or water.I do think it is a bit overpriced, but I’ll continue to pay it whenever I need another as the quality and size makes it worthwhile.

This sand bath is the perfect size for my robo dwarf hamster (it might be a bit small for a Syrian ham). I love that it is well made; it is one solid piece of acrylic so cleaning is easy. My only complaint is that it’s a bit expensive for what is, however the space saved in the cage from the corner design is worth it!

It arrived in excellent condition. At first, I thought it was a bit large, but it turned out to be the perfect size. It's a bit deep, but that's where sand and large pebbles come in handy.

My girl loves her new enormous sand bath, and the little food dish is an added bonus. She loves going in there to play around, and I love to see it. We are both very happy customers. It’s made well, looks great, and the lid helps keep most of the sand in the box (which is a huge plus), while also acting as a platform and place to eat. It’s perfect.

I ordered this for my hamster as he use to get his sand in the middle of the cage and I would make a circle with the apple stick bridges like an arena for him but he always made a gigantic mess. I finally ordered this after trying bowls and he will still dig and make a huge mess. I like that it’s enclosed with the top and he digs it won’t fly everywhere. He is a bit chunky and large and has a hard time getting in, he sometimes digs deep enough to make himself fit. Or i reduce the amount of sand but he likes to dig and when I do he gets to the bottom and uses the bathroom and it’s harder to clean. But it’s better than my old way! I recommend.
