This product has a nice rubber protectant where the clamp is in un eek way of keeping the strap tight. Works well.

Straps of dubious finish (ends) and or quality. Buckles good. I live in Boulder, and would love to love Niteize, but all of there stuff seems a near miss to me. I keep buying it though!

I purchased 2 sets of these (4 straps) to use to secure bags to my motorcycle. They are clearly very high quality straps with well made and sturdy buckles. That's why I gave them 5 stars. I have tried other brands and the buckles were very light weight. These buckles are sturdy and well made. One caution - two of my four straps were not well terminated and when I tried to thread one of the straps, it quickly became unravelled (see photo). This was a very easy fix - just trim the strap and re-burn the edge to seal it. I guess the edge burner had the day off when two of my straps were made. Since I was planning on cutting the strap to shorten it didn't matter to me, and the fix was very easy. I still give five stars because these are clearly quality straps, I would just caution you to inspect the loose ends of the straps before you use them to make sure they are well sealed and will not unravel like mine did.I didn't comment on durability since I only just received them, but will update this review after a few serious uses to comment on their durability. Based on the obvious quality of construction, I don't have any concerns at this stage.

I rooftop my fishing kayak 5 or 6 days a week from May to Oct. and these are the best straps I've found. The strap material is stouter than many makes and the buckles and straps are more suited to my use than any of the 3 styles of ratchet strap I've tried to use. Highly recommended!

I bought one set of these for our paddle boards and loved them. But two more sets for the kayaks. The only downside is the ends will start to fray eventually. A quick heating with a lighter will seal them back up. When I resealed mine, I cut the end into a V shape first to make them easier to thread in.

A little hard to feed the strap thru the buckle and one of the ends started to fray. I recut it with the point in the middle and it works better, will probably do the same with the rest.

Bought these for strapping my kayak to cross bars or J-hooks on top of my van. They work great. As will all ratchet or cam straps, you do have to pay attention to how the webbing feeds through the mechanism, so it holds properly. The rubber padding on the back of the metal cam does a good job protecting surfaces it rests against.

Would have given 5 stars, but the Webbing is fraying and haven't even used them yet, hope it's not an issue with the other 7 that I purchased. Contacted Nite IZE, will update after I see if their customer service and worry free warranty are good to their word.I'd really be disappointed if the other 7 were defective too!🫣Nite IZE definitely stands behind their products.Update...Well Nite Ize stands behind their products 💯 %, all you have to do is make the call and they'll make everything good again. Nite Ize customer service goes above and beyond 👍👍
