How To Know Which Step-Up Ring is Needed
Sizing
A step-up adapter's size is indicated by two numbers: the smaller size (male back thread for the lens) and the larger size (female front thread for filters). For instance, a 77-82mm step-up ring fits 77mm lenses and allows the use of 82mm filters.
Confirm a precise fit by checking your camera's lens thread size before purchase. The size is denoted by the symbol "Φ" followed by a number (e.g., Φ82 for an 82mm lens thread). Locate this information on the front glass element, front cap, lens manual, or information from the manufacturer.

Solid build, nice finish and the grip is excellent for removal, rarely get stuck which is really important in a filter adapter.

this works fine. I still don't know if its worth the price tho. If you could find it cheaper, i'd go that route. I dont see how this worth more branded. seems straight forward. but 5 stars as it does what it's supposed to.

Not only does it do an excellent job, it's well made, easy to put on and has a snug fit. The separate ring with the little "handle" allows you to rotate the filter without having to worry about turning it too far and falling off. You can't use your lens hood to protect your lens once the filter is on but the filter does come with a sturdy cap that fits on the front of the filter to protect it when not in use. The case it comes with is also sturdy and looks great.

Disappointed about this step up ring. The. Metal is paperweight. I noticed the brass ring thread was a little bit notchy and not smooth at all. Returned the item and replaced it with breakthrough x4. Step up ring. Immediately the difference is very noticeable and it was a breeze to use with my filter lens.

The anti-reflection handling on this ring is superb and is invaluable when used in the following application: I am using it with a 77mm Haoge lens hood to provide vignette free images using a 12mm Panasonic-Leica lens on a micro 4/3 camera. This wide lens hood is needed to provide images with no trace of vignette on this lens camera combination ! ! ! Note the anti-reflective treatment on this ring is described as "anti-reflective felt treatment inside the front thread minimize light leakage and reflections, preserving the quality of your photos" and it basically looks like velvet and is even better than even the best paint I have seen on this kind of product.

Le laiton rend la bague un peu lourde. En revanche je ne m'attendais pas à un aussi bon niveau de finition :- L'emballage premium (j'en demandais pas tant)- la bague normale? Non, premium! Il y a mème un feutre noir sur la partie agrandisseur pour éviter d'éventuels reflets !!!
