The futon mattress is not as comfortable as expected. It doesn't appear to be the same thickness as shown on photo description. Not comfortable to sleep on.

Nine months ago I purchased Nirvana Futons Eastridge Futon Set - Full Size, Frame, Premium 8" Mattress, Rugby Silver Cover for $609 plus tax. Shortly after assembling the item, one of the arms that keeps the side table piece in position split in half. DNG promptly sent a new arm to me.Two days ago, the futon was laid out in bed position, my son who was sitting on the edge playing a video game, flopped backwards on the bed after some bad video play, and a piece of the wood snapped in two, and one of the frame pieces cracked.I contacted the seller for a refund, not of the perfectly fine mattress, just the wood part as the wood is obviously flawed, and was offered replacement parts. I realize this PIECE OF FURNITURE is nine long hard months old, but this is ridiculous craftsmanship.I don’t trust this bed, and wanted no part of it.

Very happy with my purchase. Arrived early in excellent condition. No problem putting it together. The wood is beautiful and it is a sturdy piece of furniture. The mattress is comfortable and I have received compliments on the mattress cover. The mattress cover has a chenille like texture.

the futon is nice. shipping was fine and the product was easy to assemble. the product arrived at the date they said it would. I find the shipping experience with FedEx to be much better than UPS. it shipped in three pieces. the mattress came first and then the frame arrived on the same day in two separate boxes. the mattress is good, but I feel like it may not the best. however, it was really convenient to be able to buy the mattress at the same time and have it shipped. also, the mattress cover has a zipper to remove and wash it. this is a nice feature to have with kids and pets. I figure I can always replace the mattress down the road if this one wears out quickly. I was worried about size, but the measurements online are actually reliable. I would have preferred metal rollers over plastic ones, but this does have a 5 year warranty. I didn't find any imperfections or damage with the pieces while assembling. assembly was really easy. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. I didn't have any problems with them. overall happy with the product. The tables on each arm are a plus. They don't replace a coffee table, but they are convenient. this is meant for the kids gaming room, but my furry friend and I tested it out with a nap and it worked great. I had one of these as a kid and forgot how comfortable they can be. I don't know who DCG is but I would order from here again and as of right now, I would buy a Nirvana futon again. top selling features for me included: solid hardwood frame, convenience of having mattress included, multiple size frames offered, shipping was super easy, 5 year warranty on the product.

The set looks very nice. A little time consuming to assemble. Pulls out to bed easily, but takes two of us great effort to try to get it back up. I think the mattress is too long. Have to push ends in under arms, which pushes the fold up table out when it is in down position. There's no way I'd ever be able to get it back up if I were home alone. No directions on how to do it either. Mattress is comfortable. Don't like the white thread used for the tufting.

The futon is nicely built, sturdy, with a nice wood finish. I put it together by myself, but it would have been easier and faster with two people. The futon mattress is okay, very firm. The futon cover is not as nice as I had hoped, but it's okay. It's a dark, mottled grey, with a smooth, slick texture -- a bit on the cheap looking side.. The tufting in the mattress is created with knotted pieces of heavy-gauge string, with the two ends exposed at a length of about "1 1/2. It looks odd and makes the cover look almost as if was unfinished, as if there were supposed to be buttons attached (which the description clearly says there are not, so it's not a mistake). This is a good, practical piece of furniture, but not a show piece to be put alongside higher end furniture..

Our futon is everything advertised. It is well made and finished nicely. The frame assembly took a while but the directions were well written and all the pieces fit. The futon itself seems to be well made and is comfortable although I do have some concerns about the tufting method but we'll see. Delivery was made before the promised date. I had a question and wrote to the company on a Sunday and by Monday morning it had been answered. Very impressive.

I received my futon frame on Friday afternoon and the mattress the following Thursday. I put it together in a couple hours. I read the directions twice the previous night to get familiar with it. It looks really nice and is very sturdy and comfortable. I just wish they didn't say "delivered" and make it seem like the whole thing was here. I dropped a line to the company, on Friday and again on Tuesday. They got back to me within a short period of time. They told me the mattress shipped from another place, and was closed on the weekends. I received the tracking number and just followed it. I was not bothered by the delay, as much as the not knowing. Beautiful futon and great customer service, that's what I like.
