I use this hook with a log claw to pickup trees and logs with the bucket of my tractor. The bucket will fail before this hook.

Nice finish, light weight and seems to be well made. Retaining clip nice addition instead of the normal Carter pin. Didn't use the isolator because have one already mounted. Quick note my isolator for 7/8" D rings this hook will not fit on it directly I have to use a d-ring in between. Haven't had to use it yet so it's possible my rating may change. But if it does I will update my rating.

I haven't used it yet but it's robust feeling and look I know it will do well. When I bought it I thought is was for an atv because that's what I searched for... oh well bit over kill for atv needs but still like it.

I put this on my 4500lb winch. It’s quite a bit bigger than the original but it fits good. Easier to attach and detach a muddy rope. The stopper will tighten around the ferrule that’s swaged at the end of the cable. It keeps the hook from banging around when you tighten the winch hook against the roller.Paint on the hook seems like it will last a while. Time will tell.
