This is plastic...use 2 solid wheel chocks...the ones i purchase are for small tires and plastic which have no grip...

These ramps are very well made and will hold up my Tacoma truck with no issues. The bottom has anti-skid pads that keep them from moving when you drive up onto them. The ramps have numerous octagon columns (26 total) that make it very sturdy, unlike the Rhino ramps that only have 2 large columns for support. Width size of the ramps was perfect for the truck tires. Very happy with purchased after searching on-line for truck ramps.

Better than the metal ramps we had that were bent and unsafe. Threw them on the scrap pile and replaced them with these ramps.

I needed to get a set of car ramps as I've been doing a lot more of my own underbody work and it would be nice to just drive up the ramps instead of constantly jacking the car up to get under. One of my biggest concerns anytime I'm under the car is safety so I was on the lookout for solid ramps.I've heard of Rhino ramps in the past and I was about to get those when I came across these. They claim to hold 13,000lbs and the few reviews I read seemed to support that (ha). When I got them I was a little nervous because they're solid but they're still plastic. Drove up them the first time and they held so well. They didn't shift around at all when I was driving up which was another concern of mine. They have a nice groove at the top and a raised edge at the end so, as long as you're going slow, you should be able to feel when you get to the top of the ramp without overshooting.There's plenty of clearance under the car once up on the ramps. Was able to slide under fairly easily and felt very safe being under. Still put jackstands under the car as well, just in case to catch if it fell but never felt unsafe underneath. They're sturdy but still very lightweight. Easy to just lift up and move around.
