Maybe I'm too picky but the I was expecting more of a 'positive' action when flipping the switch back and forth. A solid "CLACK". There is a detent when moved and it stays in plays and will close easily (again, picky) but it's more of a smooth slide into place, no clack. If you want that tactile CLACK of throwing the cover back and forth, these aren't it.Functionally, they work without issue.Would "I" buy them again, no. Would I suggest them as a standard safety switch, maybe. Should you buy them, you make the call.NO CLACK! ;-)

Cool looking red guards and a good price, for just the flip up switch guards, which are not the most robust construction but ok at this price point. The switches themselves are very flimsy and easily damaged when installing to panel and can't endure much stress on the wiring (18 to 20 AWG is about the max). Pull on the wires and the bushing will pull out of the switch body. Game Over.Switches apparently have a very small contact gap when OFF, unsuitable for damp locations, like a boat, as moisture bridges the gap and causes electromigration of the contact material and soon OFF becomes ON. Pulled these right back out of my boat dash after a couple rainy days and went back to pull switches. I'll use the guards on something I suppose...
