This was really simple to install. I changed out my old stock switch to run off this in my 1985 Ford F150, and now adding KC lamps and more. Really easy install, looks great, and love it in my truck....so many options now. The charge works great in this as well.

Positives:- Works as intended! Notably works best with a dedicated aftermarket fuse box- Configurable setup. The box can be opened, switches can be replaced and wires can be disconnected and reconfigured. Spade connectors are used to hook up to the switches.- Comes with plenty of stickers, many are glow in the dark, though notably they have to have been exposed to light recently to illuminate.- Nice feel to the switches. They feel quality and can be replaced with Nilights' own other switches.- Voltage meter is great. I use a winch and other power hungry accessories so it's good to be able to see my voltage to know where my battery is at and make sure I don't kill it since my truck didn't come with a volt gauge.- 360 degree bracket is a welcome addition.Negatives:- Not waterproof, water resistant at best. The holes in the back that let the wires out are just straight-sharp edged metal holes that are absolutely not water proof. Also, in an attempt to make it waterproof with this, it implements a potential for a short since wires are chafing against the sharp metal if moved often. You NEED to fuse this, though you should anyways. Buy and "inline fuse" in addition to this and install it somewhere outside the vehicle.- Large. Very large. This is in reference to the external-box style not the recessed. Anyhow, it's pretty big so it's hard to find a spot for it. I mounted mine on the side of my center console on the passenger side facing me and upwards.- Wish the LED square would be gently illuminated instead of a separate led glowing when powered. Not possible with this setup. This would make it possible to identify what switches are for what lights in the pitch black which is where this will be often used.

I have a steel rack that was made for me for my SxS. I wanted additional lighting for other applications. I chose this because of the description on its site. I have several times since installing this and the new lights and plug in ports I needed have been caught out in rainy or snowy days. It has performed very well in all types of wet weather. If I somehow do need to replace it, I will buy again. I could only ruin this by crossing the wires. For wet applications, this works well but I never had to submerge it in water.
