Really makes wiring a trailer easier, but keep in mind they do leak. either drill a small hole in the bottom or cover everthing with grease or both.

Added this to my small trailer to convert from flat wire to 7-pin.Note: Make sure you buy Ring connectors, 10-12, 18-22, 14-16, with eyelets. Will make your install easy!

This item worked exactly as I had expected. At first I didn’t think I should buy two at a time. I had never bought this particular one before but I took a chance on trusting the repetition Nilight has with me. It turned out to be another good product and the best junction box out there at this price. Watertight (yes it will leak if you submerge it in water, c’mon) but most any of ‘em will. Good connection studs and plenty of room yet still hides back away from any harm. I’ll definitely buy again!

The quality of the box was slightly better than expected. The only thing I don't like about it is that the top will only go on one way. The posts are solid and color coded. The box has clamps to help with wire retention. There are also extra grommets to allow for different wiring options. As far as water resistance, I would recommend some silicone be used on the lid and at the grommets.

I installed Electric Brakes on my Utility Trailer for hauling heavy ATV's and needed to convert my previously equipped 4 way plug to a 7 way plug. This Junction Box installed perfectly to the frame underneath the bed and provided a great spot, ideal box for connecting the new 7 way harness into the existing 4 way and new brake wire. Appreciated the available options the box contains, this gives you some flexibility when determining where to install the box and position vs. existing cord length while simultaneously trying to secure and hide from both the elements and possible road hazards. Two months later, 2,200 miles (included ATV hauling to black hills) and still solid as a rock. Great product for me. FYI the pieces will be in the box but when you first open will potentially be scattered, no worries they are all in there, she will look pretty when you are all done :)...
