I keep this on every camera, in case I grab just my camera, and I am away from my bag or backpack like a smaller party or more casual event. I carry a bunch of cleaning clothes in every pocket of my bag it seems. I use this as an emergency cloth that I can’t forget because it is attached to the camera.

El paño es más grande (en comparación con otros productos similares) pero el problema está en que cuesta bastante volver a introducirlo en su compartimento.

I seem to have become a collector of microfiber cloths, as they disappear moments after I use them the first time. Then I need to order more...so on and so forth. Hum, why do I think many of you know exactly what I am talking about?! ;-)If I do manage to find a cloth, it has usually been stuffed in a pocket for days, and who knows what is on it...surely nothing I want to touch my Nikon camera lens with! This Nikon cloth is the answer to all my issues as it actually comes in it's own case. You pull the cloth out, clean the lens, and then push the microfiber back into its little case. Not only that, but the cloth has a clip on it, allowing you to hang it on anything. I hung mine on my Nikon, so I will always have a clean microfiber cloth with me the instant I need it.What a great idea! I will be buying a few more. Worth every cent in my case.

I know this is a very simple item that doesn't seem to need a review, but there are a few things you may or may not have thought of that are worth discussing. First, As far as appearance, the item is well made and thought out with a nice clean logo. If you would rather one that doesn't have the Nikon logo on it there is an identical item made whose only difference is an all black cover. The clip on the cover is well made and seems sturdy enough to do its job without issue or breakage. The cloth itself is of adequate size and a light grey color. The light color is necessary to ensure there isn't any debris lodged in the fabric that could scratch the focus screen or sensor inside the camera or the glass of your not so cheap lenses. I bring this up because it happened to me about a year ago. I had a charcoal grey cloth that I used to clean my equipment. One day while cleaning dust out of the inside of my D90, I did not see a tiny piece of plastic (about the size of a grain of sand) that was lodged in the fabric. Before I realized it was there, the focus screen had four or five scratches across it where some of the plastic transferred over. Luckily, I had not started cleaning the sensor yet or the camera would be almost worthless. The cover on this item is well made and proper size. You don't need to be proficient in origami to reinsert the cloth either which is a plus. Overall, the item is well made and performs its function as expected without issue. Because of the clip, it is a lot more convenient and handy than a cloth that is somewhere in your camera bag or is in your pocket with various other items that would contaminate it.

This is a good example of a handy product that belongs in the camera bag (or on the camera strap) of anyone who has a camera and wants to keep its LCD clean. It's small and unobtrusive enough to just clip it to your camera strap, keeping it handy for the event that your viewing screen of your camera needs a simple cleaning. These can be found under a number of brand names, including as the , but each will do the job.It has its own little clip-on pouch for storage, which keeps the microfiber cloth relatively clean. It's perfect for whipping out and cleaning off residual dust or even rain spots from the viewing screen of just about any digital camera made. It works in the field with binoculars or eyeglasses as well. From personal experience, I might suggest using the or one of the LensPen products on the lens itself, and using this cloth on the LCD itself. When it gets dirty or seems to lose its effectiveness, just throw it into the washing machine, then hang it up to dry, and the microfiber cloth is ready to be used again. Have a spare one that stays in my pocket just to clean my glasses, and though the case is now a bit fades from repeated washing, it's still a highly-effective cleaning cloth... perfect for the task at hand.Used in conjunction with the Nikon Lens Pen or the you'll have the perfect combination for keeping the residual grime off of your camera, regardless of the brand or model. Highly recommended, and it's good if you have a basic digital compact or an advanced DSLR. It also makes a good gift for any photographer.

I got this for my Nikon D40, and I actually connected it to the strap. It is so small that it I don't really notice it is there. This way it is handy to use on the lens right away, no digging in my large camera bag to look for it. I am now ordering a 2nd one for my compact camera so I thought I would write a review. The price I am ordering at is $4.98 with FREE ship. So worth it. I have a few of those loose cleaning cloths, but because there is no "clasp" of any kind on them, they are stuffed in one of my little pockets in my bag and I hardly ever use them because just not handy, right there to be used. Love that this is right where I need it on the camera. I added some photos so you can see it attached to the strap, and then pulled out so you can gage the size for yourself.
