I have been drafting / engineering since the 1970's. There are better pencils, but for the cost they are a very good buy. I commonly use the .5mm, and the 2mm for layout work.

Ensemble de critériums et mines complets pour ma reprise du dessin. Les critériums sont de qualité en métal au regard d'autres en plastiques (pour ceux qui préféreraient le plastique pour le rapport poids versus crayons de bois)).Avoir les 4 tailles 0.5 ; 0.7; 0.9 et 2.0 (*2) permet d'avoir beaucoup de polyvalence sur les traits.Pour les mines cela reste du standard, mais largement convenable pour ce que je fais, je n'ai pas encore assez d'expérience pour comparer et avoir besoin de plus de qualité au risque de payer plus cher si vous aller sur les marques (type Faber castel, Straeder, ).C'est un très bon coffret complet pas cher si vous voulez faire plaisir à quelqu'un qui s'initie au dessin.Après la boite c'est pas le plus pratique à transporter mais moi j'ai pris ce qu'il me fallait que je mets dans ma trousse.Très bon produit pour son prix.

These pencils feel great to hold and draw with. Really appreciate the extra lead for each pencil. The included erasers work well. I can’t speak on the colored lead as I bought this set just for the regular pencils. One of my pencils did arrive with a small defect, so I contacted the seller. I received a quick response and they sent out a nice replacement that arrived just as quickly as the original set. I’ll definitely be considering this seller for my next art supply purchase due to the product quality and customer service.

I got 2x 0.9 lead refills and no 0.5 refill... but it's not a problem... 0.5 refill are really easy to find compared to 0.9 refill... so it's a good deal!!

You really get a LOT in this set! Nice dark leads, erasers, replacement leads. Fantastic value. Nice heavy weight to them, not cheap feeling at all! I got a set for my daughter once I tried them. Highly recommend!

Pencils feel heavy and high quality! The ad photo makes them look like a dark gray color, but they are actually black. They write very clean and come with multiple led refills in all sizes, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9 and 2.0.Great value for comfortable to write with. They look great and they stay sharp! Best performing mechanical pencil, for the price!

I don't really think there's an issue with them. The eraser has a weird texture when erasing but it's definitely nothing bad. I was skeptical of the colored lead but after drawing with the red it was really nice quality. Nicely packaged too and isn't that big. The lead was smooth and the pencila feel comfortable to hold.

i have several of these nicpro sets, some definitely better than others. this is one of the better ones for sure. great selection, and nice design. has one of each size lead with no repeats, and they have a nice weight and feel to them. the grips arent too high or too wide as some other sets are. decent plastic case. makes a nice "throw in a bag and take with me" set if this is something you need on the go.

... Well first let me say this is not the top quality of my husband's drafting pencil set. However he is an artist and I simply love them for journaling and the occasional sketching. For the price that I paid I would definitely buy them again however, very good value for the money. Functionality: They are very comfortable to hold. And easy to use. Even the thinner lids have not broken on me yet which I'm impressed with. Erasability: I did not realize right off that underneath the metal lid on the end of the pencil was where the eraser was lol. When my husband pointed out to me and I finally realized I could erase with them without using the bigger eraser that came with them I was very happy. And they do a very good job of erasing without leaving ugly smudges or smears. The pencils themselves do not smear either which I like. Even the heavier ones. The case was really for me just the packaging that they came in not the highest quality not one that I would keep them in and I ended up moving them to my permanent pencil case. However would I recommend them? Absolutely. For a beginner artist or someone who just likes to journal and have good pencils I would absolutely recommend them. For serious artist or a professional I might say these are okay for your third best pencil set. I would not buy them as a gift for a serious artist but perhaps for one of my children.
